Looking for a mentor in digital art environments

Hello, I am an aspiring artist in my sophomore year at high school, and I am really wanting to get a rounded portfolio so I can have a running start when I graduate. Pretty much I want to improve my skills in large scale digital painting of environments, and brush up on character design and material definition.
