    Dave's daily sketchbook

So I figured I might aswell make a sketchbook on conceptart aswell. I've been participating once and a while on the daily sketch group, but these are my daily studies I've been doing for a while now. I hope it can inspire people to keep working hard.

    Anatomy studies:

    applied antomy studies:

Thansk Marc! Such a motivator you are
I planned to go sketching in the zoo but the queue to get in was massive!
So I just walked back and made some sketches along the way home.
this is the first time I did some actual figure studies outdoors
I have no idea if I approached it alright but concidering I drew them while walking,
    I'm pretty happy!

    no reference

    imaginary poses

I'll be posting up more conceptual work to give you an idea of my current level as suggested by Malakuko (I can never remember that name )

Hi Dave, fantastic start to your SB, your lines seem so confident and fluid. One small note, you may want to put "NSFW" in your title due to that painting having some nudity. It almost got me in trouble here I will be following your SB, keep udating!

And finally this is an image I did for the daily sketchgroup (Cowboy and an alien)
I inked it digitally and as you can see I hold no great confidence in that WACOM

Actually, this is my test reel I put together quickly. Has all my animations from college so far. Any feedback is great, if I should cut out some particularly bad animation. I'll definitly change the graphics and presentation.

Wow, mate! Last post is quite good digits there, but those pencils in post 10 is f***ing awesome! Have you ever tried to overpaint those? Put some time in rendering, and it would rock!

Nice Skbook like the pencils think you should do more of them. All good.

Those pencils are impressive. Now I'd like to see that coloured
When my daughter was about seven years old, she asked me one day what I did at work. I told her I worked at the college - that my job was to teach people how to draw.
She stared back at me, incredulous, and said, "You mean they forget?"
