    3 Week Workshop

    Hi all--

I was wondering when/where the first 3 week workshop for TAD will be held and if it will be held within a convention center/near a hotel? I'm also curious if, since there will probably be many attending, there will be some kind of discount setup with hotels in the area?

    Thanks..!

    Well, according to John English:

I dunno if an exact address has been posted anywhere or not, but I think it's at least confirmed that it'll be in Kansas city, and if Google Maps is accurate, "West Bottoms" is fairly centrally located.

And I do remember reading somewhere that they will be trying to get discounts on hotels.

I wonder if there will be a limited amount of spots available for attendance?

I'm actually wondering about what we should be bringing to the workshop, besides ourselves and a sketchbook. This might be a dumb question, but are acrylics allowed on board an airplane? Would we even need to bring acrylics or oils? Perhaps, a laptop might be needed, as well? I know it's not even June yet, but I like to be well prepared ahead of time. : D

This isn't the location of the workshop, that's the location of the normal everyday Kansas City POD.

To answer the OPs questions. They have not given a location for the workshop. and and ANDAN was correct about the other things.

I am also curious about what to bring. Currently my laptop isn't capable of running PS or Painter and I was gonna get a new one for christmas. If we will be using the computer mainly, then I will shell out the cash and get one before I head to Kansas City.
