The whole gamer girl thing is being completely blown out of proportion. I saw on Spike TV's website that they had a girl gamer section. Curious, I clicked on it. All it was was pics of girls in bikinis playing Wii Sports or with a various controller. And then I go on Live to play Bioshock 2 multi and the second people see I'm a girl, I get hit on and asked out or told I suck before the round begins.

It's not always a question of "Would someone pay for this?" It's more...in these instances, a question of "Who would actually be willing to get paid to do this?"

This service only exists because there are girls willing to get paid for it. Doesn't matter what guys are willing to pay for if nobody will take their money.
