RPG Creatures - The First TWENTYFIVE Creatures! (scroll down!)

    Hi.

These are the first nine creations for my Online Beastiary Blog, called RPG Creatures
    - a place for RPG and Creature fans alike.

If you like reading about creatures, or just watch them, you can visit the blog at http://rpg-creatures.blogspot.com
There will be plenty more where these came from. Why would I stop at nine?

Here are the illustrations, from 1 to 9. For more info - check out the blog! Tell me what you think.???

Neat blog, i'm spending quite some time i should be working on a picture on reading through the descriptions, they're very vivid. It's also great how you fleshed those creatures out, it's not often you see a design that's and original and convincing. Hope you'l do many more!

I am really digging those unique creatures. You have really put some thought into making them unique and interesting.
And kudos on the detailed background info. It's always nice to see that extra mile (or two).
Keep up the great work. Can't wait to see the next nine!

I'm really interested in the Lammathen. The dark background and harsh lighting really does the trick. Keep up the amazing work.

Artfix: Thanks a lot! I enjoy writing too, so it is no big deal.

Dozeren: Thanks! As fun as painting gets... varies.

walnut: I'm glad to hear that there are those still able to push through more than two sentences in these speedy internet days. I'm glad you enjoyed it enough to do so. Thank you! More are certainly coming.

Duman: I'm glad to hear it! Thanks!

NanoBlack: Hehe! Thank you! (I hope you like details...)

    frozen-scumbag: Great! Thanks!

    And here is number ten....

This is just awesome. Really dig the creatures, especially the Jarma-Loh. A lot of fine detail, and an interesting way of presenting them. Can't say other than love them all.

    Keep up the great work!

Some of the bestest beasties I've seen for some time. The designs are original and your lighting is really well rendered and adds a lot to the pieces. Top work.

Man but you are going to be interesting to watch over the next few years! I see a considerable "jump" in technique and design from the first posts to these later ones. Outstanding stuff Dude! The Nomancuan is my current favourite. Very Cool.........

    These are very cool.

I would love to see the world flushed out a little more by designing a few creatures that aren't so dominant and predatory.
Small mammalian creatures that serve as prey, or little fish that creature #2 may feed upon.
Not everything can be an awesome beast.

    MoonVisionStudio: Thanks, man!

1n5ane: I'm glad you like them. Thanks!

Baron Impossible: Great to hear it! I'm still incredibly fond of that "tit-troll" scene of yours!

    raminafshari: Thanks!

Duman: I try to keep it decent. Thank you!

    Daruma: Great! Thanks a lot!

Waipunga: I'm not sure if you mean the first creatures up here, of my first posts on CA! If you mean my first posts...hehe.. yes, even I can see there is progress! Thanks!

DSIllustration: Thanks, Dan! You know I don't think of these creatures as belonging to the same world, game, or even universe. My main concern is to create adventure friendly (or inspiring) creatures for tradional RPG-use (I still agree with you that there could be less of deadly monsters even among these...)

I'll post another 7-10 creatures once they are born. Thanks for watching, and the feedback! Always welcome! Cheers!

Love these! Very creative and whats important is that they are all sufficiently different and have their own edge!

A strange thing actualy, your Nammun design is extremely similar to a character I have designed for a certain project that I have not posted on the internet yet. Maybe the overly long arms, their texture, the furry back, and the long snake body. The pose is even similar. What a cool coincedence! Maybe there is something about long arms that encourages an artist to draw a snake body?
