I'm not new here, but I needed a new account because my old one was doing weird things on me.

Anyways, my name is CJ Cannon, and I'm using this sketchbook as a learning tool for enhancing my compositional and perspective skillsets. Please feel free to critique anything I upload, and provide tips on how I can improve, for that's what I'm here to do!

Anyways, this doodle was actually done on my DSi using the program, Colors. Weirdness is abound in me... 1 hr.

Real quick, 10min doodles of some boys I found on the internet. The poses and what not are different than what was shown, I was just experimenting with proportion and making each child look different and non-standard per Disney's requirements. God forbid I go Disney...

Sorry about the high saturation... when these were turned into jpgs from pngs they became that way.... blegh. Please click on the names of the pieces to see a a slightly more accurate, but still off (pngs are a bit dull) version of it.

Bomberman:
Took about two hours, done with acrylic, watercolor, and prisma pencils.

Bluedog:
This was a sketch commission, that I've yet to get paid for... Same materials as above.

Birdbrain:
This was another commission done fora friend, he said do anything... So! Well - he has crazy hair, literally it's quite big, first thing that came to mind was birds.

Nice (re)start to your SB. Looking forward to more. I've never used a DSi. Is there any pressure sensitivity?

Depends, it can take some people a while to get used to the button system, an there is some pressure marking in the program, but it can be tricky. Best thing to do is zoom in and out a lot.

This is my boyfriend's fancharacter, Smokechu. He did the lineart about four years ago. I decided to color for shits n' giggles.
