Also look out for the George Bridgeman anatomy books, which are a must have for any artist.

It has good reference photos and some artist spotlights. Kevin Chen had a lot of good anatomy exercises on there as well.

Nice start to a sketchbook! It looks like you have a good eye for form, and I like that you are trying to establish light direction for your shading. Just stay determined and keep pushing work out, cause it's all about the mileage!
