Final Questions before pressing submit..

Hello TAD faculty,
I'm writing here since I have a couple of questions that the FAQ doesn't seem to answer

- first of all: Whats the difference between the Hybrid program selection, and Onsite POD? I'm using the Slideroom online app to apply. The FAQ says that there are 3 types of "deliveries" (online, workshops, PODS) , so basically, is HYBRID the mix of all 3? or Just online and workshops? Cause I'd really love the onsite instruction over online, but to be honest, I wouldn't be able to afford the cost of living in any place for more than a couple of months.

-second: if I choose a major, lets say Illustration, will it be definite when I submit?, or will there be a chance to alter the major later on, regarding to the faculties suggestions, etc?

The hybrid program is participating online and attending workshops. It does not include being at a POD.

These are just my thoughts, don't take them as a fact: Since the Foundations course goes for a year I imagine it wouldn't be completely unreasonable to change majors in advance. I'm sure the organisers will try and accommodate students as best they can.

You got some good advise from cognition.sb! When we refer to a Hybrid it is the online and workshops we are referring to.

If you are wanting instruction beyond the online, but cannot afford to relocate the workshops will be perfect for you. We are organizing the workshops in cities that are inexpensive and easy to access. The workshops will be very similar to the immersion programs that The Illustration Academy has offered. The workshops will be to offer information that is focused on the hands-on aspects of learning our information (drawing and demonstrations). Even seeing how the critiques work in person will be helpful for the online experience.

There will be room to change majors, especially during Foundations!
