    Random Line Problem

I have looked around and never found an answer for this. Not really sure if it is painter or the wacom.
This doesn't happen on every stroke. Just randomly as I'm painting a straight line will shoot across the image to connect with my cursor.
I have the latest drivers for both my wacom and painter x.
Hoping someone else has experienced this and has a solution.
    Thanks in advance
Here is a pic of what is happening. (hope it works) If not there is a link also.

I had similar issues, but much less pronounced
did you install painter x.1 patch from corel web-site?
how much ram do you have?

I suggest posting this question at painterfactory.com board as well.
some of corel staff check those boards too and may be really helpful in your case.
on the fourth day of glitchmas my painter™ gave to me
four random crashes, three broken brushes, two system hangups & one corrupted workspace

I've read about this several times and even experienced it occasionally myself, although never enough for it to be an issue. I seem to recall it being mostly a Wacom driver problem therefore the first thing I would try is to reset the Wacom preferences. Also, re-install the driver (there is a new driver just released) but making sure to restart your computer after removing the driver and before installing it (or the newer version) again.

You may have done all this, in which case I've also heard that interference from nearby electricals can be a problem too, although I don't remember anyone actually confirming this in real life.

Wow Joe you really are everywhere :p I know you from IFX, but I have seen your name on (seems like) every forum I end up on when looking for answers. Maybe I'll just start messaging you. Ha!

Thanks for the ideas. I have the newest drivers, but will try the re install. I just recently started having the problem. And I just got a new desk so maybe it's interference. But I can't think of why. Nothing really got any closer or further away. I'll try the drivers then try moving items around again.

Thanks again. And I'll post if I figure anything out.

I got this problem too, when i move form painter to other software many times and when i return to painter i notice it later a weird random stroke, sometimes was saved and hard to get rid of it.
There are no such things as bad art, just tight deadlines.

    Fixed!
    thanks for the help Joe.

    1. Uninstall Wacom Drivers
    2. Restart Computer
    3. Install latest Wacom Driver

Been using PainterX for the last 2 days and no random lines.
