I need help with my art. Please give me advice. Thank you

    Hello,
I'm new to this forum and was referred here from a comic book/comic art site. I have never had formal art lessons but love to draw. I would like to one day be a professional comic book artist. Please help me figure out what I need to do and give me any and all advice that you can. Thank you.

ya try to post themm at about 900 tall max. best for most monitors here. Anyway your art is ok, it is what it is at your level. You need to spend more time focusing on drawing from life. Draw people you see, draw people wherever you go. If you goto wendys go sit down and draw other people while you eat. Take some life drawing classes if you can. Otherwise you can do self portraits, draw from images and movies. The point is that your library for what things look like is empty. You need to fill it up so you have more to work with. Keep it up tho. art, just as life, is only as deep as you are.

    Seconded.

From what I can see I advise you spend more time drawing from observation; hands, portraits, whatever.

Draw ALL THE TIME, bring a sketchbook wherever you go.

Also, spend some time rendering up the lights and darks of your art.

    Keep working at it.

Yeah, there's nothing here that can't be improved with a bit more study of anatomy, perspective and structure, plus a bit of experience. There's some pretty decent foundation stuff and an idea that you're drawing forms rather than lines, and that's always a good thing. Follow Sunny and Yowza's advice and keep it up!

How do I change the size of the pics I upload? Do I have to save the pic differently or can I change it when I upload the pic onto the site?
