You want critique? Okay.
First and foremost, you need to start learning the basics of drawing. I suggest the following to improve.
get this book
http://www.amazon.com/Drawing-Head-F...7109845&sr=8-2
and practice till your hands bleed.
when you can do that...
second: get this book
http://www.amazon.com/Bridgmans-Comp...109969&sr=1-37
repeat above instructions.
Now for advice
Never start with anime as your base style. It's a shit drawing style and a shit way to learn. Characters are all too exagerated and stylized to do properly and it never actually teaches you anything.
Start realistic and work until the the skills you have are refined enough that you can add personal style to your work without it comprimising the quality of your drawing. It takes longer and requires more work than simply going, "Hur hur hur. I learns to draw likes manga" but it will ultimately help you in the long run.

These are some pretty cool designs. The human design is weak, true, but the weapons are very creative. I think my favorites have to the Hounds and the Shivas. And no need to buy the books. I fyou go to Scribd or some place like that you should find it for free. I think there's a sight that also has alot of Loomis books. They're all available for download. The best way t get on the ball is to draw from life. It's how all artists learn. And anime could be a good way to learn execution and composition. Sort of pay attention to how the artist produces something asthetically pleasing. Also, a great site to use is posmaniacs.com. Every artist that is aware of this site will recommend it. Although I first started out drawing anime, It helped to influence my style. So, in a way, it can help you learn. Start a sketchbook in the sketchbook forum. Alot more people will be able to help you out if you show them your progress.

He has good imagination...that's all I can say.
As said above, forget anime until you've learned how to draw real anatomy. That's not really a criticism of anime, merely an observation that you need to know what a human looks like before you can stylize one.
Draw skeletal and muscular studies until they look like actual people, then come back for more crits.
dude its a good start i did drawings like these too. but got frustrated. found out that i'm not really into japanese manga style. i think reading and practicing realistic/ life drawing can be a very big help. you already have the passion and desire to draw. why not go apeshit with it. soon you'll develop your style and your own voice.
That is not a very good images, are very simple for this web page, you need to improve your skills because is a weist of time.
A little harsh there bud. Sure the photos were a bit crappy, but everyone has to start somewhere with regards to their journey as an artist. I can't remember which thread it was but some guy had over a year of straight posts to his sketch book going from barely being able to draw a circle to some good art.
