Wow.. much respect. I wonder how long it takes you to draw some of those pieces.. especially the interior painting you last did. Very nice. I would also like to see some videos produced/tuts. A speedpaint would be great.

I got a facebook page now, and will use it in the future to announce livestreams - http://www.facebook.com/ollyart

Trying out new brushes, new software, new music...

Pkmike: Thanks! And definitely, working on it now
Izene: Glad you think so, thank you.
sony: Thank you for looking! And thanks, fixed it now.
    Aberzheim: After you sir!
    Ludic: Thank you!
The Fez: haha thanks, I shall not disappoint your subscription!
Junpei: Thanks! That interior was rather quick, I had the main painting laid out in 1-2 hours with trying a new technique of laying down a texture in colour harmonies, and painting opaque lights/transparent darks over it. I'd like to do one of those, gotta figure out how. I do save wip stages but never happy enough with results to show those off yet.

No, just CS5 instead of CS4. I am just dicking about with the mixer-brush tool, very fun.

Some gestures, don't wanna post without a picture - I got a fancy new sketchbook so I'll be leaving the digitals for a while

Hi, just stopping by to say I love the first image of post #905. I like when artists are successful capturing a character's attitude without showing his/her face.

    Impressive sketchbook, thanks for sharing!

I like the energy in the figure studies in post 911, good job capturing the force/motion. I'll have to look into the mixer tool.. just now getting into making my own custom brushes..

Rendering on those tree trunks is really well done, the texture is described wonderfully.

I really love the fluidity of the lines in your figure studies. It's almost as if the first stroke you put down is always the right one! My gestures are always super messy, so I really admire that about your work.

Hey Olly I'm really loving the sketch of the tree and how you've created all those great shapes and directions with it. I'm a bit of a tree lover myself! Was it done from life?
