Last Minute Reminder: DISCOVERY

Hey Everyone,

Discovery starts tomorrow. Make sure you have all the necessary plugins so that you can join the classes. If you have a mic, make sure it works.

You can test the online sessions by opening up the files that were downloaded after you purchased the Class. Log In. Then it will tell you that the class is not open yet, but is has a link to the support page. Click it and Step 1 will tell you if you have the necessary plugins and Step 2 will allow you to join a guest session to configure your settings.

Note: The live sessions fills up after 100 people, so If you can't join this is the reason. You will have to watch it on demand if you miss the live session.

I had signed-up deliberately in advance to secure a live session as it was advised by TAD people. There were no announcement also that the live sessions were filled up even after I signed up.

Did I misunderstood your note, or will I still have to try to make it to the first 100 to be in the live sessions?

the eluminate player is pretty sweet with a notepad in it and everything...but the audio playback seems a little muffled, is this normal?

Do I have to sign up for this or anything? or do I just go into the Configuration Room and go from there. Also, do I have to set up a web cam for this or will the video come on by itself?

omg I didn't realize there was a way to reserve a spot and that it filled at 100.. (I must've missed this or something..) and I'm flipping through the classes and they all seem to be at 100 at the reserved counter. Does this mean I'll have to watch ALL of them on demand?? (Which would REALLY suck..)

I'm just a student like you guys, I'm not sure exactly how the sessions will fill up. I also seem to remember hearing that you were reserved a live position if you paid early enough. But I'm not sure.

I also never heard that the live sessions filled. This probably means that there will not be over 100 people signed in at once.

Don't fret, I'm sure everything will work out. It's in the middle of the day for most people and lots of people still have work and school. I can only watch the first hour on monday/wed, and I can watch all of it but 45min on tues/thurs/friday.

I don't see anything about reserving spots, no idea where your read that. Guess the software just has a limit of 100 people, maybe for performance or whatever. There should be no problem if you properly bought your share and have received your link file for all the sessions.
Just be on time, I think you can count on 1 out of 100 to be too late ;D

Hey, anyone having trouble getting to class because I'm lost once I get into Elluminate's program? Can anyone help me out because class has already started?

Whoever paid early to secure a live spot (at the time i signed up, live spots were still available) could of waited as the first 100 people to log in gain access?

Guess we will find out in a few hours....i cant wait

the class hasn't started yet, its 2-5 PST, make sure you convert the time to where you live. im CST so it won't start for me until 4pm.

Everyone who signed up prior to today will be able to access the live sessions if they choose. Not all who signed up are I am not sure where the info came from that it fills at 100 but that is not the case. There are spots open for those who still want to sign up as we can open up more seats if we have to. The tix will be on sale until the end of discovery if folks want to sign up and catch the first days in on demand and the other days live. The show goes on!

You should be able to get into the classroom now (it's currently 4:37 eastern standard). I believe that there is a 30 minute window prior to the beginning of classes where people can log on.
