White appears yellowish on one of the displays!?

I open photoshop, open my image and the colours are off, mostly noticeably, the white areas have a great yellow tinge to them. This is only happening on my 2nd display (Wacom Cintiq 12WX). Outside of photoshop the white is fine, but I caught it in the act when I dragged photoshop from my main display to my Cintiq.

You can see that when dragging it over to the second display on the right that Photoshop decides to change the white to a really ugly light yellow. Though it doesn't do anything on my main screen (on the left, as you can see there)

I don't know how to fix it. Does anybody have any suggestions or solutions?

PS. I'm using CS4. I think I'll have to convert back to CS3 cause of the horrible lag when drawing.

I have same problem, i have two asus monitors, one is connected do dvi output and second to standard vga. I always thought it was because of monitor light/contrast possibilities, but now i would like to hear what people think.
About pscs3 i i am using it for same reason you mentioned.

I've only recently solved my problem. When opening photoshop I have been told that the colour profile that came with the monitors wasn't functioning properly. I used to just use the profile anyway because I thought it was working properly. So then I decided to ignore the colour profile and now my second display is fine.

I suppose for your problem too that it would have to be something to do with colour profiles if the colours are only affected inside of photoshop.

Thanks redcloud02, but in my example colors are different on screen overall(i mean one monitor has that yellowish instead of white).

Perhaps you should look for some sort of colour management in Windows for the problematic screen, update drivers or try adjusting settings in your graphics card controller. I don't know otherwise, sorry

I'm sure somebody will have an answer

Some months ago I updated my monitor's driver which resulted in the exact same yellow for white problem you are describing. Needless to say I went back to the old driver. I could have probably solved it by messing with the colour management but I consider that the Dark Arts - the driver was easier.
