    PingLe's sketchbook

    Hello, everyone!
I was watching this forum for several monthes and now i decided to post some of my works too. I always liked painting, but started to take it seriosly only about half of the year (maybe a little more). My teachers are only the books, videos and forums (like this one), so I'll be very happy to get some advices and criticism . Most of times I'm learning to paint.. hehe.. realistic pics, but sometimes i like to paint cartoons

I can upload only digital works atm, but I like pencil also (will upload some of them after I find the way to make good copies..)

Cool imaginative works! It's hard to see where to help critique you right now with just these pieces, but keep posting and I'm sure if I don't get around to it other people will so that you can get help to improve. But for now, you got some really nice pieces going on, nice imagination!

Tryed to draw a "post-apoc landscape".. Kinda rough, i know, couse most of times i draw characters.. I really need to work on the details, but i dont know really what to draw )
Are there any lessons or maybe movies about painting of buildings/cityes etc?
I'll be grateful if anybody can give an advice or a link

I like what you've got going on here! The three in the first post with the white backgrounds have great movement and a nice painting style.

    Keep posting!

Good stuff so far, your anatomy study is good... Keep practicing with studies and stuff, you're getting better. Keep up the good work.

    Thanks all )

Btw maybe someone can give an advice about trainging of dynamics? So far I just paint some simple figures.. and they are quite boring if I take them just from my head not from any photo. I can imagine different gestures, but I can't imagine an intressting position of "camera".. always getting something too static.. no action =|

Nice landscapes, Like your style of the first drawings you posted, nice strokes.
I'm alwas tryin that but for some reason. I always think that my paintings look to smooth in a bad way.

    keep it up.

Checked your sketchbook. Can't say that your paitnings are too smooth.. they look kinda nice ). But if you want to make them even more sharpen, try to use brushes with 100% hardness as often as you can. But it doesn't mean, that you can forget about smooth ones
