I know I'm the tacky medium that's not bad nor good enough for critique but seriously.
I could use the help, too.

Some f*cked up art. I'm still going to keep up with that picture and at the same time work with another verion of it, only time will tell which of them will look better! D8<
Dammit...
Anyways, I got the linearts done to the another verion, now let's see which's better at this point...
Also I made a pic for my fiancee some time ago, I don't know why it's my most liked picture but it sure angers me since I don't like "fanart" going before -my- art :c
Also sum moar sketches
Now I would've loved the picture IF the character wasn't in a weird pose with his wings in an even more weird pose...
At least the lineart's done rather nicely D:
And lastly, to both scare the crap out of the most easily scared people and telling why you should never let me draw myself:
Enjoy!![]()

...I still have much to learn...
Ohno I ended up editing this post as well.... *laughs*
Forgot to mention that this picture was only inked and colored by me, I got the sketch form a "friend" of mine, who luckily liked the picture so much she decided to make a real character out of the originally random guy. I'm happy, as I really like this dude (:
Tried my skills in a bit more comic-like style
Also a small bird for the people here :3
Some people love furries. Well I love telling the truth about them. They're siliconwomen and steroid men. Here's some Shiyus, a mammalian, dragon-like race I made some years ago that I doodled into furries for the LolZ, just to show how I see them.
And to make this all worth it

cool stuff !
i see potential , keep it up!
Time to upload!
A friend comissioned me to finish a random doodle!
Theeeeen I made some doodles of a friend's character from my race. I really like that one, as we've both put so much into him! He's got a detailed story and everything.
And last but not least, there's Baares, a species of mine. They're doglike and live in packs aaand.. they're nothing too unique, just a part of half of my 12 books :3

Why am I even trying?! D:<
love your style!
Don't get too worried about the lack of responses - people tend to look and pass by without comment - Ive had few comments to the 600+ viewers to my sketchbook.
I like what you do - it would be nice to see some more coloured work, you pen work is sound -do you do environments or more life like pics?
Thanks ;3; It's nice to hear someone likes what I do, especially from this place where it seems like I'm not good enough to be commented on or critted D:>
Maybe I just lack the needed self-esteem...
Oh, I was gonna post some colored stuffs but for some reason Photobucket decided to go batshit one me. I'm trying to work on one thing atm and should be getting it done in a few days <:3 It's gonna have at least a bit of enviroment (I really suck at backgrounds so I don't do them).
But yeah, I do a lot of lifelike pictures with as much of expression and possible even poses/motion as possible c: Too bad I often end up drawing poses xD
Thank you yet again![]()

hey nice painting i like the creature concept and the mountains and the clouds look really good too but the cave looks off still nice job
Prsnsweeney;
Oh it isn't even nearly done yet xD I just haven't gotten much of the background done yet~
There's gonna be a fully grassy/rocky hill he's standing on aaaand... I bet it's gonna take a LONG time xC I've never done a background that'd be even nearly as advanced as this one is! D8 *panic*
Parody-dragon time!

Finished the painting :3

This was supposed to be a sketchcomission but since I had already disappointed the client once before, I decided to really do something worth the money. So I shaded her.
Finished quite some time ago.
Let's see how long it'll take me to get something more done... I just feel so devastated right now by yesterday's events...

Why are all my pictures done with a different style? D:
No wonder ppl are confused about my art...
Wanted to try something calm and beautiful. I think I did fairly well c:

Okay, so first off, awesome dragons, that "kaekunzai" think blew me out o the water. The lines in your creatre/figure drawings give me a great sence of gestalt.. that's to say that they feel really whole and in-tact, and define the space they exist in. But enough compliments, that's not what sketchin is about!! Draw some scenery or enviroments with as much careful observation as you've given characters and you'll really be on to something, I get this feeling like ... "well darn, I guess my characters have to exist SOME where".. For example: that grey-purple dragon 3 posts back standing in the grass. you don't have to have a field of evenly spread grass texture to get the grass idea across, it's just way to busy and distracts like hell from that critter, presumably the focus. If you could get the ground to feel like a receding plane, and not a textured shape it would do wonders. Compositionally that horizon line just takes you right off of the page, maybe having his head/neck break that up.. or having the greatest amount of contrast exist somewhere else? It seems like the peice is flirting with the idea of being a painting, but it's some kind of strange drawing/painting hybrid. Please mess around with the blurryness/ sharpness of your edges. It's like you've got some really nice constructed shapes going on that are flattened by the inconsancey between the subject and the environment. That may be why that earlier dragon post rocks so hard, cause youve got nice colour choice and subtle texture to carry that nice line drawing.
On an entirely different note: space can look much cooler than a black plane with some white dots play with some dark colors that aren't black, you can get some great effects! Look at some photos of space, it can be super-beutiful. In that last post, the coloured lineart on black looks really good, but the way the earth in the character's hands is rendered spoils it abit for me. It's just soo bright and smoothly rendered in such litteral colors, it's exactly what you'd imagine! On the plus side, the yellow-green conture lines, with that red in the interior is very nice. Did you stumble upon those colours while playing around with some photoshop or was there some pre-conceived idea? Please keep posting, and talk some about your process

Thank you for the comment C:
Yeah, I've got that problem with the backgrounds, I always mess them up one way or another. Like in the picture with the gray dragon (I just drew a lot of grass, then copy/pasted it all around the picture because I was too lazy to do it the proper way).
And thanks for all the suggestionsI'll try messing with the smoothness and such when I get back to drawing -will take a while, I fear :C
Oh the lines in the last picture? The green outlines were a friend's idea but the red was mine. I tried god knows what to get at least some shapes shown and finally got the reds there. Had done a picture with the red linearts on black before and knew that'd look a lot better than any of the other options.
And the globe.. Yeah... :/
Well, on the plus side; I know what to work on more![]()
Ahhh, ConceptArt, how have I missed you! I've been off for more than a year now and have returned to try once again, just that this time I'm going to take it more like a grown-up than a child who thinks that posting a silly little image here will automatically grant me all the critique in the world.
With that being said, I greet you guys once again.

welcome back. Nice creature concepts especially that orange dragon. As people have said, definitely expand to full environments too. And since you obviously love creatures, why not do some studies of different animal parts? They'll help make a lot of your creatures look more believable (not that many arent already).
and seriously, don't worry about not getting critique. You'll probably get more if you post more so your thread gets more attentionI'm trying to do the same thing
Thank you, Ghast!
I've actually been working more on environments than I did back during last year, although I must admit that I'm still very noobish at it.
Oh, and animal parts! I suggest not looking too deep into the images before this post, as they really are over a year old but I'll be posting a lot more in the future! 8D
Also, I've been doing a lot of work on the anatomy and lately, I've been very fascinated by skeletons(especially skulls). I spent the whole last week drawing friends' creatures skulls. I'll put them here in the order they got done in.

...and I really have to start posting smaller images. :|
Just to show you guys what I do nowadays.
Sketches of Juan and some random animal thingers.
And eyes. So many eyes.

Got this image done. Or at least as done as I want it to be.
I watched Miles stream and felt like working EVEN more on this picture.
And now I'm off to bed. Good night/day/morning/afternoon everyone!
