Parsakoira you know whats funny ? I actually do have a level-system ^^ ...to stay on top of things I categorized my pics and every now and then when I think that I made a major step forward I start a new level ....this pic actually promoted me on to level 4 ^^

You've turned a marble into a masterpiece. Had to point that out--theres a lot of awesome stuff in ur sketchbook but since I'm a beginner, I'm working on light and shadows on spheres and your example is one of the best I've seen.

Dude as breathtakingly astounding as this piece is... and it pains me to say this put, "his" left hammer's attachment is off and his right one looks like it appears to be bending due to speed/light distortion except that would blur the hammer's head and the head is really crisp. UGH, it looks so cool! damn it why cant u be perfect like the rest of us Partisan, I mean look at my work absolutely flawless every time...(shut up and let me live my bullshit fantasy )

Hey man, been following your chow progress - looking good man! you can choose to call it finished or work it some more, adding texture / rendering in details in the armor such as scratches, patterns and ornamentation. I think some of latter mentioned details would help the piece! Also a hue variation would help. It's over all quite brownish.. play around with Cold green hues on soft light and see if you can find some cool effects.
When I paint I usually start quite monochrome as you have here, carefully working in hues with softlight.

DefiledVisions I will come back to this picture and work on it further more, but for now I dont feel confident enough to do so , I just dont think that I have the skills to push this further right now ...I just need to go on my own pace and for now I think this is the best I could do ...I first have to improve ( on other pics) and then I will certainly return to this one

So the pyramid-piece had to wait today as my whole room was again aflamed by the sun ...so it was impossible to work on this very dark piece because there was now way in hell to see the little colour-variations in it ...so instead I browsed trough some SBs and found this one :

And decided to give this exo-skeleton/armour thing a try ...heres the result....hopefully not just a rip-off of one of Stephens works ...if so ...it wasnt intentional but subconscious . I ll name this particular unit "Cascades" as they are the heavy fire-support guys which cover the enemy with a constant barrage of gunfire .

so first update on the pyramid piece, defined the focal points and the overall atraction-points ...now its carving the shapes out , which will be a very time-consuming process I think ....but I really like the piece so I like working on it

BTW: sorry for not dropping by your SBs ( not all of them ) because I am using a internet stick and only have a limited amount of stream per month and after that it becomes hilariously expensive ..( caused a 700€ bill one month ...) and I only have like 800MB stream left for 10 days ...will drop by soon! Promise !

so small modification on the first exo skeleton closed the helmet so now it looks more like an armour, not like a very small mecha , did a variation of the first exo-armour ..with a 35mm autocannon ( and the needed extra-stabilization ) and redesigned my first armour-concept for my fictional MMORPG to better fit with the Cascade-design

started adding colour on the deployment scene ...not very happy will see where to take this

and also a small update on the pyramids piece...it now has 3 basic colours Ill stick to, its yellow ( which is to saturated right now I know) red and blue

Hell yeah, the piece with the pyramids is kicking ass!!
I'm thinking of the Album "Powerslave" by Iron Maiden. I love Egypt-like artwork and music!
The colors are awesome, you need to add a little more dirty textures to the pyramids and the sand I think. *****
