Okkkayy so its been a loong time since ive updated this. Ive been working since May on and off for paramount/dreamworks on a film, done a cover for a rpg book for the first time, storyboarding and concept arting all over the place. Going to take a while before i post 2d stuff, so ill just paste some 3d stuff from a fantastic program called Sculptris and later the occasional photograph. Got this great 5d mk2 with a 800 mm megalens that im dragging around with me. nuff braggin, heres a picture!

Hey man, some really cool stuff here. Nice variety too. Those cartoony environments you posted on the last page are really cool.

That's pretty awesome you're working on something for Paramount/Dreamworks, congrats on that. Some great photos too man, nice sketchbook.

    Cow scupltris

    Loathsome: Thanks!

    Parsakoira: Thanks!

Yor: Thanks! Lots of variety coming up.

    NyeAlexandaFrayne: Thanks!

Shadow Stalker: Thanks! I love drawing faces more than anything. On a 4 day traintrip i drew pretty much every person on the train.

Untouched24: Thanks man! I ran around yelling a bit like a sugar-overdosed child when i got that gig.

insane lemur: Thanks! I got the idea to do things related to drawing after reading one of Ken Wilbers books. It goes something like this:
When football athletes take a pause from football and start doing tennis or a ballsport related to football, their skills in football has improved when they get back to doing football again.
The idea really hit home for me, and i like making stuff anyway.

More scupltris and photography. Since last time, I got an imdb.com credit as a concept illustrator! and ive worked for Volta as well. streetcred STREETCREEEEED.

    Sean McClain: Thanks!

DeKal: Thanks! I try to be as versatile as possible.

GriNGo: Thanks! Yeah its somewhat magical. Some silicone thingy. But there IS a magical clay in one of the pictures. Its a prototype/research clay.

surus: Thanks, hehe. Its going to be more of that stuff for sure.

Metal Fingers: Thanks! But no zbrush, just sculptris these days.

2 photographs of fancy stuff in my studio and a wip sculpt of an elf.

Pay attention to the thing behind the t-rex (The T-rex is a david krentz bronze). I took a sheet of aluminium, sanded it with different sanders and sprayed it to prevent oxidization of the aluminium to keep the surface nice and shiny. With a spotlight, you get a very strong 3d effect. Guess where i got the inspiration.

Also just finished painting this plexi cast wallpiece of dinobones that had a very irregular shape unsuitable to hang on the wall, so i had to cut a hole in a plywood sheet and use plaster and old paint to get the right texture for the surface. Ehhh yeah wonky explanation. But hey, it looks cool.

Soooooo since last time i saw a ... that ... made based on my design on a filmset in Germany. Yeah im paranoid mentioning it so ill brag all about it after the film is out next year. what else what else, oh yeah i drew some conceptart for that Troll Hunter film some of u might have heard about. Was for some of the props tho, so not for the trolls. sadface. Heres a picture of the tail i designed for that Troll Hunter film and a wip of a knight. Trolltail built by Steinar Kaarstein.

I don't know why you leave that middle mark on the faces. Does that happen by default when mirroring the thing?
