Those faces in the 5th image down look awesome. The angle of the bottom right one is great, and I love how you have defined the glasses. How long did it take you to do each one?

But seriously, your use of said technique is very impressive. There is something to be said about someone who can define form and add dimension through the use of many individual lines placed next to, on top of and in complete opposition to each other.
Have you heard of cross-contour? It's a tech. where instead of just hatching you follow the form with the lines. So for a nose you would take the line up and around the nose instead of just hatching the side, or whereever the shadow fell.
The faces are really good, but that hand. That hand is one of the best I've seen on these boards, keep in mind that I haven't been here to long.
