    The Humpty Dumpty conspiracy.

This is for an illustration project I've been doing over the last 9 weeks. Basically we took nursery rhymes and tweaked them into new stories. I did Humpty Dumpty. My theory is that Humpty was either shot off of or pushed off of the wall for protesting unfair treatment of eggs....

    lmao ... uhmmm, lol.
I'd say pushed off. Double agent sort of deal.
Untrained (noobly) eyes, but I do have to ask.
Is this in oils? Those highlights looks sweet.

An acrylic underpainting with oil painted on top. Actually some parts of the wall and sky are just acrylic.

Imho this is an adorable piece and the acrylic highlights really are easy on the eye.
I'd say that the eggs themselves, however, look a little too orange and flat to me (accept for Humpty)
I mean those are spherical shapes, thus, there has to be a distinguished darker side to the spheres and a lighter one, but instead all the eggs at the bottom kinda blend together.

I agree with Sagir. The eggs don't really stand out enough, and the arms look unfinished. More distinct shadows on the eggs below the wall would help.

I love the concept though, by the way. Pretty cute and funny.

Hey there! I like the tone of the work (conceptually speaking)... I also like the color contrast between sky and eggs. Wish you had a better picture of the second work though.
