a sketch i got discouraged with, for some reason and never took it any further. also an icon-ie pic. just until i can figure out how to make it show my new work first![]()

i forgot myself one day and couldn't draw. so i started playing around with brushes and effects in photoshop and picking out shapes and going from there. all in all it was a fun exercise and i got a really cool armored slug out of it.
a quick self portrait and a few character works.
cool works![]()
I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed how you decided to show The Surveyor in the Character of the Week Challenge. I was kind of shocked at how many votes you got.
Nice sketches, I like your brighter stuff and the first sketch.![]()
so my train of thought was all over the place with this chow. at first i was going to do an underwater thing with the surveyor and a scuba diver. but then i decided to go with a more mythological based theme.
if the surveyor was gathering information/knowledge and she had supposedly been doing this for years, i thought that maybe an ancient race would have seen her as the goddess of knowledge. so i went from there. taking her from the stereotypical athena to a more modernized version. i gave her a companion, an owl named knowledge. anyway these are the sketches and finished product of that little road trip.
eh. something that could use a little more work, but i like it.
one of these are some sketches of goblins i did for an author, the other is fan art. it's bartimaeus as a gargoyle from the bartimaeus trilogy. really good books by the way![]()

these are a few character illustrations that I did for the author PJ Haarsma. they are for the MMO game rings of orbis, that is based off of his book series, the rings of orbis.
this was also done for a chow. tried a different style out and had a blast doing it.
playing around with a more realistic technique. i used ashley greene images as reference. one image is plain, the other has subtle outlines. i like the outlines best.
title page from a comic i'm working on. a ghoul perched on a pile of dead civil war soldiers. its a long story![]()
