    Sketchbook of Alexander Carletti

    Hi,
I used to post a lot on the boards but left for a while to concentrate on school work but I just recently finished high school and inevitably have a lot of time. I have a blog which i update quite often http://alexcarlettiart.blogspot.com/ but I wanted to get some feedback from people.

I really love your sketching. It reminds me a lot of Goya's small drawings. The parrots are my favorite ones.

Man, your recent paints are just spooktacular!
I can see a Hale aesthetic peeking through your recent work- which is a plus, of course =)
and the brushpen/ink works are 5-golden-stars allround- good to see your development through the transition of black-and-white to paint

Big improvement since I last saw your stuff. I remember last time you commented on my sketchbook you said I was better than you...certainly not now. At least I have a good rival!

5 stars from me dude. Your linework is great.

Alex this stuff is all beautiful. I'm quite drawn to the drybrush quality in those orange looking pages in the first post, ink? Some kinda wetted charcoal? If it's not the second you should try it I think you might like it. What kind of feedback you looking for in particular?

    Right on man, right on.

I like what you posted on Rodrigo's sb. The synchronisities in life are amplified by concise confidence in one own's doing.

"What would I want? Sky" by Animal Collective started singing as I read your post.

The magic of the path always seems to leave me in awe.

    Right on!
