Hi Kristoff.
You are doing the right things for your further improvements.
The pencil sketches are great, anatomy, figure studies, you
are doing them all.
The self portrait is nice also, you should do that often.
But the most what I like is that you implemented these
grayscale character designs in your painting schedule.
This will help you to master even more values and will
help you to evolve your creativity. Try to do various figures
in the future, like males, females, warriors, wizards, monster etc.

Your use of value range is really good and I really like your renderings. Your proportion, on the other hand, still got off here and there, shown in the painting of the marble statue and that last character with a katar. But it will be solved soon with that amount of anatomy studies, i'm sure. Another thing is, about the last character, I am not sure about her trouser's upper part design , the pockets and the zipper, those are looking too modern compared to the rest of her costume, imo.

I think perhaps trying some colour based pics might be fun for you- for example base a pic on two complimentary colours, three spaced evenly around the colour wheel, two seperated by only one colour etc.... there's a bajillion different variations and I can't remember all of their names right now.

Nice pencils! Digital's hopping behind a bit, though the first light study in post 160 is on the right track. I think i you have a thing with placing the eyes too high in the face, maybe watch out for that.

wicked wicked studies, I would say with your digis dont be afraid to really come in confidently with some well observed colors with harder brushes
