This is what I have done...I am planning to scan or take pictures of a lot of my more recent work once classes get out for the holidays. I would appreciate any feedback, especially when I start posting more of my in-progress work.

I have been focusing on watercolor lately, but I like to try all types of media. Mostly I work in my sketchbooks by doing drawings for ideas or pasting things that I get inspired from in them so that I can refer back to an earlier page rather than having to pull it up on the computer or something.

I'm excited to get started around here and I've already seen some great stuff in other people's threads and galleries.

Some sketches, still older but they are ones that I'm somewhat proud of and have been incorporating into some of my recent work. I want to attempt sculpting the dragon, but I haven't sculpted anything since I was in grade school so the task seems a bit daunting.

holidays were crazy. here are some very badly photographed paintings of mine. Well, the hummingbird was scanned.

wonderfull work i love the vibrancy of your color and concepts you are working out

would love to see you tackle some more landscape perhaps some study of a few different faces as well a few are looking a little too similar

sculpture would be super cool to see as well i see you are thinking about taking it on starting out with some simple shapes and cast studies "if you can find em "
would be a great place to start study your material and figure out
whats working and whats not before you delve in to a large project like that i think it would give you some great insight

A sketch of a concept for a cockatrice design, a sketch of my boyfriend, some sketches based on Chinese Miao costumes and a self portrait.

Also there's a sketch of a memorial image I want to do of my family pets that have passed away. We lost our dog, Sophie, of 13 years this last 4th of July. The larger bird (a Caique parrot) died the 2nd of this January. The other two are budgie birds that died last year (the larger one) and a couple of years ago (the one on top of the Sophie's head). My family is now petless and without means (or permission) to add another furry (or feathered) member to the family. I'm a bit melancholy about this and my mother and sister are both taking it quite hard so I wanted to do a piece to remember our lost love ones and the good times we had with them.

Classes start for me on 1/11 so I will do my best to keep up here.

Not really too concerned with how interesting it is visually since it is more of a sentimental piece.
