Knight girl/demon girl LineArt- updated

knght drawing} My first full digital line art =) I'm still a bit uneasy using PS for lineart but it truly does make the line art look much more crisp and cleaning. Worked extra hard on her anatomy..I think it was worth it =0

Demon Girl} Just trad lineart with a ballpoint pen..nothing much else to say about her lol

I'd try varying the line thickness for added interest. It looks like you started to play with that on the knight's chest armor, but I'd push it even further.

The demon's chin looks quite small and knobby even for the stylized effect you're going for.

I think those are amazingly well done! lots of detail

my only critique is... if you can imagine the second one (knight girl) standing up... her legs (the top part above the knee) are a bit short

The last girl really disturbs me for some reason. I think there's some weirdness above the breasts, I'm not sure if there's a clavicle and her shoulders seem oddly placed. Her torso seems oddly flexible as well.

Agree with SaintAsh about the line weight. It's like everything in the picture is fighting for my attention and it's just a bit confusing. In the first one my eye tends to flee to the well defined tree in the background, and it really shouldn't.

Yea I had tried that with my knight XD i think it didn't end up showing as much since I have a hard time sensing the line thickness on photoshop.

and lol i know..I really have to work on that

It's not that large.just hard to do with a med. size pen. Gonna make it better in PS

Crazy is showing sleep lines. Crazy is showing extremely contracted pupils. Crazy is showing a slight smile while inside a nursery filled with tender and succulent children, and a bloody scalpel in hand. Crazy is not a lazy eye.

First these are really well done. The second pic has some orientation problems, especially with he left arm, the inside of the elbow is off and makes the forearm look detached from the upper arm which is behind it at an unnatural angle. Also the folds in the sleeve there appear to be hanging straight down but are actually being pulled behind her body.

On the second pic the ankle anatomy is wrong. I think you got confused because of the crossed legs, but anyways, with uncrossed ankles the bump on the outside is lower while the bump on the inside is higher. Just a sec, going to make this easier to explain...

The bumps in the ankle show the endings of the fibula and the tibia. In your image the fibula is ending higher than the tibia, which is anatomically incorrect, as the fibula actually reaches lower so as to support the ankle in how it rests on the foot and keeps the foot from improperly bending to the side. Also, there seems to be a bump you are showing further up the leg, I can see no anatomical reason for it and it feels very awkward.

very cool, I noticed though in the first pic her right horn looks as though it was copied and pasted onto her head, without her hair being forced around it.

I would suggest that you make a clear decision about your light source. Right now, your light is rendered as if it's coming from the viewer's eye. While this can be a useful technical exercise, it usually yields a rather un-dramatic rendering. Also, your skin tones are too monochromatic. There should be more variation in hue. For instance, the thighs and breasts will be slightly more green, and the nose and fingers will be slightly more red.

To me it looks a bit muddy right now. Also I think the contrast between shadow and light area is too great near the chest/shoulder area, also somewhat incorrect I can tell that much but not really how. I also liked the prev outfit more.

I see lots of inspiration from Hyung Tae Kim in your work. He always has done girls beautifully. You have very clean and crisp lineart, it is great.

For the first girl, her shoulders and ribcage look very thin. It could just be your style, but it throws me off. Also, the torso section looks very long.

Second girl, besides her eyes, her torso also looks a bit misshapen. I don't think the foreshortening on her knees looks quite right, i think her legs should be a big bigger if they are coming toward the viewer. I look forward to seeing this picture colored :3
