Nice SB derss!! I'd suggest more anatomy studies such as Bridgman, Loomis or Vilppu. They will help your understanding of creature construction. Really like the photo sketch in post #4. Keep up the good work my friend!!

Hey derss - thanks for checking out my SB - thought I'd return the favor! Great creatures! I'm envious you're studying Industrial Design - great career - especially in Sweden! Do you still learn traditional materials rendering like markers and pastels or has it mostly gone to digital?
    What would Caravaggio do?

Thank you Jeff! Yeah, well depends on what school you studie at. But i think all schools still teach markers and pastels. We have more leasons on learning markers then digital actually. Would love to have more sketching leasons then we have at the moment, but you cant get every thing

So here is some more stuff.

The first one i got bored with, so it isnt finished. ill maybe finish it later and paint it digitaly or shade it by hand.
The two last ones are not scanned. They are photografed, thats why they look a bit odd.

Look like you're working hard. Maybe try not to outline everything, it tends to flatten stuff out - try using softer forms first to suggest a shape, then tightening with lines/erasing. Keep up the good work

    Thanks for my SB visit.

I would agree that too much outlining will flaten things, but it really does depend on what style you're going for. If you are, for example in the last one, going to do heavy shading, that might not lend itself to the more cartoonified outlines as well.

You have some really fun drawings overall though. If you are drawing full page on all these shaded ones, I would just present the question of how much time do you end up spending on each page just shading? There may be more to learn overal restricting yourself to the occasional full rendered piece for practice, and doing several mid-sized drawings instead. Of course it depends on what you're trying to get out of your study.

You should keep working on the 1st one, It's a whole lever greater then your other ones. But avoid shading it, it already has good line quality.
