Wow, your drawing is spectacular. And you're what, 17 now?
I wish I commited to drawing as young as you![]()

Man, your linework is amazing! Also the shading is so efficient!
Might I ask what really helped you with those? I mean, any tips, or some direction to a book about it?
'Cause my linework and shading suck a big one.
Also, am I right, assuming that you did these last two pieces with a mechanical pencil? HB or harder? Or maybe several leads?![]()
Thanks MrMagic, I'll answer your question on your thread
mostly busy with college - Heres a little warrior man![]()

really digging the pencil updates but it would be fun to see you try some new materials as well, it will improve your work in general. But great drawings![]()
Ok. Unoriginal but I'm pretty much throwing back the same compliment you gave me - great style with your clear and three dimensional feeling likes. I can tell you've already put in a lot of hours into learning how to sketch in such an understandable way.
Those really neat shapes from your college, what do you mean by 'natural framework' which was maybe the inspiration? I really like those and think it would make a great warm up activity with small sketches.

Hey Lav, thanks, and your right about the media, I do do paintings and such in my college book however I tend not to upload it. Perhaps I will when it is more improved.
Hi Jakers, thanksnatural framework is the theme of a current project we have running at college. So im refering to things that come under this category, any natural forms such as humans or animals or landscapes. In the case of these two sketches one was inspired by some horned lizards spines the other a zoomed in section of a shell.
So heres some digital skin tone studies, skin tones are really hard to get
Leg studies, the first two sheets are from imagination
and a sketch I hope to take further.

Great Sketchbook! Really nice studies and life drawing. Keep it up, i see a lot of improvement here already.
Thanks Twig
Not sure what to make of this. It started of as a speed painting but I started to put hours into it. Tried to ignore tight rendering and such so its pretty sketchy but it did get tedious at certain points. lemme' know what you think,
