    More of an expression? He looks like he's riding into battle but his face says "I'm bored and sitting at a tea party".

    He looks pretty full of emotion in that mosaic. Note the raised eyebrows, intense eyes and slight sneer. This is an excited and arrogant man.

    Although I have to say, I really like the energy in your version a lot. There's a lot of motion there, be sure not to lose that.
