    Tablet Upgrade?

Hey everybody, I was wondering if I could get some opinions!

I've been using a Graphire3 tablet for about 5 or 6 years and it's served my purposes so far, but I've just started going to art school, majoring in Animation. And I've also been wanting to improve the way I do art. I was wondering if I should consider getting an Intuos3 to use with my CS4 program.

Can you tell me what I would gain by getting an Intuos?

It generally feels better. more pressure sensitivity, and i feel its easier to draw with an intuos. If you can spare the cash, go for it.

On a side note, the new intuos4 comes with a rougher surface, which according to others feels like good drawing paper, but eats your nibs. ( i never got used to it).

If you can afford it, Cintiq. I'm using mine for animation, but I'm using different software than you.
Amazing at how those Graphires last, my previous tablet was a Graphire 2, surface is so scratched up you can barely see the border. Pressure sensitivity is nice on Intuos (the Cintiq is an Intuos merged on an LCD).
