Heh. Well, ya suckered me in here with that thread title

    Cool SB!

Let's see... you got the G-ROSS going... and McLovin.. heh... nice... good.

Good studies, too. Looks like you're getting a handle on the basics... which, at your age, is excellent.

looking good, i like the shear quantity of work you posted.

happyfatthing suggested gesture which would be great. try doing
a gesture of everything before you start drawing not just figure. it helps
to try and find the over all image that you are trying to capture quickly

some value charcoal studies would help you get in tune for painting.

keep it up ! and post more soon

Uhm, is that someone we both know boning someone standing up while you watch, cry and hold her baby? Glad you're back at it. Good lip study. On your blue line drawings try starting with basic geometry like spheres and big sweeping skeletal lines. Then go back over it with a 2B or something darker to tighten up the drawing as a final pass. When you scan it you can adjust the levels and make the original blue lines disappear. You're getting the contour but missing the gesture so it feels clunky in some places.

Some really good stuff here, like Zorcron says, the quantity, but I also like how you're trying different styles and techniques.

Keep up the good work man.

Woooooow, you sketchboook looks so fun and interesting. I am jealous.
    Keep up the good work.

Your little pic is whatever the first pic on your first post is. Uploaded through the upload manager. I made the same mistake and made a whole new thread to remedy it.

K, well i just tried some things out, and here's what you can do:
Go to your first post and advanced edit, through the upload manager, upload the image you want to be shown, renamed with the EXACT same file name as your first image. (Underscores replace spaces _ ) It will replace your first image and i guess you can explain why the others are there in seven years or something lol.
Or you could delete all the images on your fist post and then re-upload them.

    Hope this helps.

Looks great man, you got a lot of variety in there. You're doing a lot of different styles at once, I like it! Keep posting.

I don't get the "nazi bish" drawing though, what does bish mean and why does the dude have a swastika in his head?

Thanks for posting in my SB btw, appreciate it!

!!! Just got some more art supplies! Got an amazing led pencil!!! I think I'm in love!

Once I do some more tonight I'll post some

@ ZenzybaR - Thank you for the comment and tip!! I'll fix that issue tomorrow probably. Thank you for takin the time to tell me all that :]
@ Turbosnail - Thank you :] Will do
@ yochanan - Thank ya! And ok.."Bish" is "bitch". I just wrote it weird cuz I kinda say it like that when I'm messing around. And that's not his head, it's his hat. And Nazi's have swastikas, so that's why it's on his hat. Hope that cleared it up

You have some really nice studies in here. It seems like a "disconnect" between what you're drawing there and your imagination stuff, tho.

Try (as much as you can) to incorporate what you've studied (and possibly learned... hopefully learned) into your imagination stuff.

It takes one extra "gear" while you're doing the studies, though. Try and think about why something is shaped like it is in the study you're doing. Try to understand it. Then do the copy. Copy it a few times until your understanding is solid.

But without the "trying to understand" bit, the copying is useless.

Try it anyway. Incorporate those solid form studies you did (the body shape ones) into imagination drawings, using your new understanding. Your progress will astound you

@ psage - OMG! I totally know what you are saying! I was thinking about that tonight actually. lol. I can't believe I wasn't already doing that naturally. I'm gonna try more to incorporate what I'm learning with my imaginary stuff. Thanks for pointing that out!!

It's great to see that you have been doing a lot of studies. I don't know if you have already heard of it, but Posemaniacs has a great 30 second drawing tool, which throws poses at you randomly to draw. Really helped me I found.

You've made a really good sketchbook start, just keep it up (which I find is the hardest part).
