Talking Phalasa - An Animator's Art Album

    Greetings,

I'm a Polish/Canadian artist who is currently completing a bachelors in animation here in Canada, I just wanted to share some of my work, I only recently took up photoshop seriously, I am more of a traditional artist.

My goal is to get better in conceptual work so I can take characters from concept and bring them to life with animation. I believe photoshop is really important now in the conceptual art industry.

Thanks for your time guys, tell me what you think.

Hi Phalasa, welcome to CA . Really nice stuff here. Looking for some comments :p. Euhm for the rider with the beast piece, I think you could soften your shadow more to the end. Because his tail is higher and the cast shadow wouldn't be that strong I think.

Liking the boxer and those 2 environments very much though. Are you going to color up those environments?

    Have fun drawing .

Hey thanks for the comment Lyno, your right about the shadow, it would soften up towards the end.

Here is a painted version of that one layout.

very delicious works here mate! glad that you're making a "transition" over to digital not that traditional is bad, but it's great to see traditional artists using digital mediums more and more these days. keep up the good work, i'll be watching your sketchbook!

Hey, good to see you back again! Hope you stick around a bit longer this time, share some more new stuff. I really dig what i see in here so far, good varied subjects and styles. those enviros you posted a while back are really nice, and this new character on your last post is cool, nice lines and shading, his feet are fun too!

Anyway, like i said, post some more! You've probably got a lot of new stuff since November, so go ahead and show it off It'll give us better means to critique you.

Keep it up, looking forward to more.
