Whoever bumped me up to five stars, thankyou! Though I really don't think I deserve it when I check out the work of other five star SBs. Thanks for the support and advice from everyone who's given me crit. CA is such a great place to learn
strangedawn: Thanks dude, you're way to kind. Checked your SB out, it's wicked will defo be checking in on you
I really like your Jack, what a creeper! gives me the willies.. is that an umbrella sword, or a cane?
Man! Your stuff is pretty damn good.
Thanks for visiting my sketchbook too by the way.
KittyKaida: Cheers! I was thinking a cane but maybe an umberella ella ella would be more stylish. And more practical in rainy old London...
Loathsome: Thanks man! Was an inspiring visit to your SB
are you going to do any more with jack, or is it a dead sketch?
I think I'll come back to it but to be honest I'm really busy at the mo, am working on a new show for SKY. Really enjoying it as it's pushing me to new places and well out of my comfort zone. Hopefully I'll be able to put some of it on here once it's done and on TV.
Oh, that sounds awesome! Well I wish you lots of good luck & patience![]()
Quick thumnail just for shits and giggles
Speedy update sorting scale and composition
Last one for sketch
Man I just love the action in your paintings, and your technical skills are really, really good. Beautiful renderings. #202 is the most epic painting ever!

Thanks mate it's always nice when folks like your work. It's all about trying to capture light and drama for me. I used to get so bogged down in detail I forgot how important composition was. A long way to go to get on a level with some of the guys in here though
I still get bogged down in details ~ such a fool most of the time ~ anyway I like where the last piece is going, and I should be doing that more often, focusing on getting a good composition that is.
Anyway 202 is just pure awesome as is the orc singer and the french cock and the CHOW entries ~ anyway thanks for posting and cheers ~

Here's a quick one I did in about 40mins for this weeks CHOW. Archangel healing a fallen comrade. I really want to finish this one as although I'm by no means religious, I do love religious iconography
Haven't been here in a while. Shame on me...
I really like where you are heading with this new CHOW.
Here's an update on the angel. Had an hour in my break, was sunny outside too but I really wanted to get cracking on this
Think I'll open the right out a bit more to use those flight feather to draw the eye
I really hope you finish this one, it's going to be awesome -- I wish I thought of the idea! Shit, maybe next time! Haha. Very clever.

It looked pretty cool with the rough before hand when there appeared to be lots of arrows and it was all mish/mashy. It helped draw the focus down to the calm centre.
Looks good though, cant wait to see it finished.
Looks good - wondering if there shouldn't be a few more arrows that have gone through the wings that have landed on the ground or into the defending angel & just arrows that have gone half way through the wings ~
Either way, my own taste aside, looks very promising![]()

Lord that Jack the Ripper piece just pops out at you! I like how it has both an art side and a design side with the pure silhouette street light and all that jazz
