I love the fat dragon but the wings are not working for me, they look too comical, and they don't look like they are attached to its back.

I see your point, but this is meant to be a fat, flightless, dragon who lives in the swamp. But thanks for your comments I appreciate them. Got a bit on time on my hands to give the fatty some love. Starting to balance stuff out now

Part of my is a little gutted to be relegated to four stars, but the bigger part of me is glad as there are so many artists on here that are beyond me at the moment and I think I need to rise to the challenge! Much love G

Hey GEB you did great with the fat dragon! a powerful image no doubt.
As i see it, the best of it is the lighting and the dragon itself. The mood and ambient is really well achieved. I like the wings, they supose to be atrophied and weak, so they became almost rotten in its own back, nice , those horns rock!
my crits, the (fat) volume isn´t enough achieved in the lower part of the back and the hind legs, and the right horn (the right one we see in the image) maybe needs to show up a bit more, given the head perspective. If i have to be a little picky, the horse´s body needs to be longer and maybe it would be a bit more nervous!
other than that, nice work again!

I like the dragon piece and how you placed some rusty color on his wings, this really brought life in the fat guy! But if I've been drawing this picture, I'd change his fingers\claws because they're so funny and cute :3 but if that's the effect you've been trying to achieve, I'd better shut up and go away.
I like how you can get a sketchy but finished felling with a few strokes.

The fat dragon is very cute and it doesn't seem to cause any harm. And thank you cery much for answering to my question! That's amazing how much could you achieve in illustration during past 3 years. You draw finished illustrations with plot in each one, not simply "character without background". Keep up your work!
