So I finally quit my day job to pursue getting better, I am pretty excited this is just a small post of the larger ones to come I am pretty pumped! Something I started on presidents day and just finally finished, only a little ref was used for the original sketch then rest was all from head, was trying to see how things look and with little to no ref try and re create them.

hi,

I'm looking your drawing, but i don't know if you draw from life, I see the same things as i draw at he beginning, you draw shadows as flat and blurry areas.... a bit like when you want to draw shadows quickly, you put some graphit on your paper then you blur it with fingers. We can see it for this drawing :

So you can create simple volumes with paper sheet (cube, cone...) to draw from life....

update dump! Hey man thanks for showing me those videos!! I will have to get them when I get some extra cash in great stuff, I am trying to do value studies now as well. Thanks for stopping by though!
