    Uncle Jed's Rolling Roadshow

Hey everybody it's your old friend Jedmo. You might remember me from my fledgling days in the hallowed halls of the Conceptart.org NextGen Atelier. It's been quite some time since I left the nest and the time has come for me to jump back on to the forums with a large ongoing project.

Starting in a couple days (October 1st, 2009) I will be leaving my current home here in Seattle and riding my bicycle south. All the way south to Tierra Del Fuego in southern Argentina. My intention is to travel North and South America, creating a visual record of the journey and sharing it with you guys through this thread and a blog ( http://www.dondeestajames.com ). It will be a voyage of self discovery and artistic growth and I very much look forward to sharing it with this community.

Attached you will find a map that shows something of my intended route (it is obviously quite inexact) as well as some stuff from my sketchbooks that will give you an idea of what you might see from me in the coming months/years.

Hey guys. Well I made it to San Francisco. It's been hard to get in the swing of making work on the road. Striking a balance between riding and drawing and painting has been dificult. But I managed to make a few things. And here they are. Just over 1000 miles down. More to go. Anyway, enjoy.

Thanks for checking in guys. I'm glad you guys are liking what I'm up to. I'm now in San Luis Obispo, just around 200 miles north of LA. Here's a couple of pen sketches from the past couple days. I have some color work as well but I wasn't able to get a good shot of it for this post so maybe when I get to LA. It's a small update I know but, as always, thanks for looking.

Hey Jed!!!. Nice stuff you got there. Just to let you know, if you do continue south without any issues, you have a place to stay in Chile. My building has a roof looking to the entire city .

    Good luck!

    Hey y'all
Thanks for stopping in and commenting. I have to apologize for the serious lag in updates. My access to technology right now leaves a lot to be desired. I'm currently in Zihuatanejo, a city on the Pacific coast of Mexico made famous in the hit film The Shawshank Redemption starring Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman. It's nothing at all like what the movie would lead you to believe. At any rate, here's some stuff I've done since getting south of the border.

Really cool brother. And I mean brother the way Hulk Hogan would say it.

Especially like the double spread church steeple. That's my favorite in the kama sutra as well.
