    Hey, great stuff here. I really like the first one, even though it looks like there's something weird abouth the mouth. Can't put my finger on it though.

    I like your progress, keep it up! One thing about your material study in your last Samurai picture; It's a good idea to remember that wherever light hits on a material, more details and texture will be apparent. And vice versa, in the areas where the light does not hit, the details and texture are almost lost within the 'forest of shadows'. The textures that you have overlaid on the armor looks almost pasted on, per say. It'd look more realistic if you tweaked it a bit regarding that.

    i really like that first image, great work on that one her teeth look too small though & the fantasy characters are cool too, lookin forward to seeing some more

    My suggestions are go and look up some proportion guidelines if you haven't already, and try doing some gesture studies. http://www.pixelovely.com/tools/gesture.html is a good tool
