I am currently working on this watercolor painting and would be very glad to hear any help on what I could do at this point to make it better. Thanks!

Here are a couple of older pieces. The city is done in pen. The War Raptor was done in Adobe Illustrator.
The war raptor is really cool although it might have been a bit better off center. I'm not sure about that though and in any case I really like it. The cityscape is amazing too. When you say pen do you mean that in terms of pen and ink or a program though, in either case I love that one too.
I have nothing interesting to say but here's my sketchbook, perhaps you'll think I've drawn something interesting XD http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=167964
I drew it with a zebra ballpoint pen.
Thanks!
Yeah, that's what I thought you meant. Wow. Was it penciled in or are you gust so amazing you drew in pen from the get go?

DEFINITELY penciled in. I drew a detailed thumbnail and blew that up and printed it out lightly on two 8.5x11 pieces of paper. I used those as my pencils but occasionally penciled areas out I wasn't confident with later on.
The perspective on the city is nicely done. The line work is good on the whole. Might have been nice to have given more sense of depth with finer/lighter grey strokes in the distance. Is that an ice-cream cone you got in there? Wicked. One other thing I’m not sure about is how big the ships are. Relative to the girl, they look quite small. I Think it’s the thick black you’ve put on them. They have the same amount of contrast as the foreground, this makes them look as though they are nearby. Really solid work otherwise!
hey nice work, i'm digging the penciled girl and the two 'bugs' illustration
just check the two eyes of the girl (distances and size) but interesting texture !
in the last one: the eyes, cheek eyebrow should be more to the right,
the line of the neck could bit to the left.
post moaaarrr
That city scape has impressive detail!...there's some great potential here, just need more....Good call on the Zim too-love that show!!

Really nice work you have!
What I´d suggest would be adding contrast, especially with darkening areas. That would make the picture more interesting, I feel... You want the steam to glow if I see it right, but to glow (be bright), the surrounding area would have to be darker.
I would not make everything darker, but only the foreground to see what that looks like. The picture could kind of fade out on the upper part.
I hope that was understandable... Foreign languages are hard to write in.

Katanasoul- Thank you very much for the input. It does make sense. I will do my best to try to implement those suggestions.
clockworksnail- Thanks!
I'm going back to working more on this (though I really don't want to look at it anymore right now) but I would really appreciate any more suggestions. Thanks all!
Sketch started on my tablet, then completed in Photoshop.
Could be better, but still just more or less a sketch.
