Nice to meet you Heiki!
Post some images next time.
Cheers
Thanks, I'm working on it right now![]()
Whit this pic I tried a completely different style in photoshop as I had done so far. It supposed to be a costume that reminds a bug.
You're most welcome dude!
Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like jackass rushing you. hehehe
Nice start by the way!
Nice colors! Loved the rendering.
I think the legs could be a little longer but the result is great!
Keep posting.
My sketchy version of Iron man. All critique is welcome, so don't hesitate on replying.
Thanks Hellfire
The idea was to do something in baroque and grotesque, though it doesn't have so much of them in that pic.
This was my deviantart contest entry pic which I did a long time ago.
A Stephen Hawking portrait.
Very cool stuff, and I like your use of colour.
Can't really offer you any critique, you are on the right track.
Maybe get some really finalised works? Like think of everything, composition etc.
Keep them coming.

First of all, you have a very cool name! Secondly, as has already been said, your use of color and value is awesome. Very distinct and aesthetically pleasing. Really cool stuff so far. I'd love to see more quick sketches and studies--things like that, just to see what's going on in your head when you draw.
Here is my sketchbook: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=166026 Check it out, yah?

Dude, you're very adventurous with you colors and compositions. Nice.
Study more anatomy. You've got a hold of it, but figures like your iron man are a little funny.
Tobuoi, thanks for the name comment, I'll post some quick sketches and studies for your request soon.
Tripage, huge thanks for the compliments. Yeah I should study more anatomy, but recently I figured I should do more design, so anatomy has been secondary for some time now.

These are my creature, color, value studies all at once, the first is a reference pic of dress for my not so grotesque old woman, the other kind of drawings I do when lacking of inspiration.

This is my old-school, I did these kind of pics until 2006 or so. The Gastrophysa Viridula was the first one that led me to series of copied bug pics. Though I think that copying from a book isn't really art, it's just a good exercise to practice pen or pencil skills.

It's suppose to be an elf, but it has no wings, or pointy ears, so, lets say he has elf armor.

I see a lot of ideas and imagination behind your paintings. You also seem fairly at ease with digital colouring, though I feel as if yome depth is still missing. I guess you just have to spend more time doing that sort of stuff. Also I woull like to see some traditional stuff!
Cheers
Janos, thanks for the kind words and pointing out depth, I should definitely pay more attention to it. I would post more pencil stuff, but I don't have a skanner, and I'm not good with coloring traditionally.
