last one is cool, love how the front wheels tilt
I've always just used Sketchup for architectural purposes and had never thought of it for modeling vehicles. Really amazing stuff you have here. I'll have to try some of this stuff when I have some free time.
I'm not sure if it has been asked already (only skimmed through thread and will read over with more time later) but what do you use for lighting for the v-ray rendering? Do you position lights or do you use an hdri map of some sort to get those cool looking reflections?
You've got to stop this constant updating. You are putting tears in my eyes.
Bad ass as usual!
Your artwork is absolutely amazing and inspiring, you have a unique talent...
This is just too insane.... I demand to see more!!!!
P.S. Loved the youtube video, any chance of uploading a higher resolution (and slower version... things are moving too fast and too furious ) ? Keep up the excellent work![]()

I saw some of your designs when somebody at google sketchup office in Boulder Colorado showed them to me last year when I was visiting! Since then I had never been able to find them and then I stumbled into this post. I have to say its some amazing work and keep it up its beautiful to look at! I dont know how you get such organic shapes without using any plugins however? you should keep your eye out for one called subdivide and smooth 2 coming out some time this year will really help organic modeling.
Wow, Google knows about me! Nice.
ok, will wait for it

good stuff!
Amazing... As usual.
The muscle cars are fabulous !
For the black old "rocket" car. You used the basis of a red with white car you'd made years ago ?
The roof of the red one was better, but the front of the black really kick a.. ! Very nice mix of old and new style
How do you do to re-use a model ? you cut the part you don't want to keep and restart from that points or do you modify directly the model by wires and points of connection ?
thank you very very much for these great works and for your tutorials !!![]()
Thanks very much ixlrlxi for your youtube video(s)... Great stuff!!!
Any chance you could upload the whole thing somewhere (hotfile or rapidshare) as one file (higher resolution as well?) ?
In any case, keep up the good work and keep us updated.

Wow. Real great style there. I love the retro feel. The lighting on your renders and paint overs give it a strange surreal, almost hyper real feel to it.
