Hello there Mr crackman. I found one comment from u in early time in my sb, it was cool. But now I'm not here to talk aboat me.
I really like your pencil stuff most of them have a really "goosy" feelng, like hugs if that makes any sence at all, if it don't just see it as a really posetive thing.
Stay bbacon.
Looooong time no post (it's been what, 4 months? dammit)
Here's a little update, to colour up this current page. Heheh.
Thanks everyone for all your commentsSome of them are very helpful and all of them are encouraging. Thank yoooouuu!

hellow again witcrack!
I like that gray rendered guy with the blue background a lot in the latest update! Especially the experimental feeling you achived with cutting and copying.
First one is cool too, but I think it's too messy (at moment?). The area with the hair and the arms is difficult to read because you have so many lines and the same colours and values. Working in bigger shapes may help too if you like to go on.
Nonetheless, nice update =)
Val: Thank you very much for your commentsFor the first image you mentioned (the guy with big moon, it's Gaiman's Morpheus, btw), it's just a ... er... mood sketch? hehe, I don't even know what that is, anyway it (will be) functioning as a guide for a more careful painting (2nd picture).
Just draw myself a new wallpaper
uh.. sorry if the image is too big... Edit: FIXED

Hiya![]()
Glad you're back and posting. The Morpheus sketch is really cool, I like the second composition sketch very much, do you reckon you'll finish it? The Mushroomette is...interesting, what is it supposed to be? I like the way you've painted it, although her left leg seems a bit too small and disjointed.
Oh and niiiice samurai![]()
keep up the great work![]()

Eh up! I missed the intergalactic burlesque chow, damn that sounded good. I like your ideas.
I'm liking the last few sketch dumps. The stand out pieces for me are the 1st study in #461, all it needs is a little more time fixing the anatomy on his legs and feet, the rest is great, the suggestive 'brush' strokes and lighting look really cool.
The sci-fi sketch underneath is pretty cool looking too, I like the limited colours you used.
The moped in #462 stands out, I love the style and textures, looks like traditional. Also the last one is gorgeous, the colours are lovely and fresh it would be nice to see this one worked up some more but only in a few places where you want the focus to be, like her face and her feet for example. But that's only my opinion of course.
keep up the good work![]()
Angela: Hey hey! Thank you for taking time to comment. I really appreciate itI agree I should endure some more time in my studies, it's just... the internet, it's... ... No reason actually, just being the lazy me
Well, here's some new ones:
Opaque colour studies:
Sketch:
Stuffs I currently work on:
^ I realize I have to darken the green headed guy a bit more while I was trying to rework his body. That's one happy accident for me.

update on the chow, tightening the lineart. Learning from past mistakes, I will do character sheet before polishing this one. First thing first

Character sheet
perhaps it needs some words in it, explaining things or perhaps additional drawing, showing how he shoot his sonic weapon thing. But I think it will it suffice for now. Back to the character illustration.

Continuing the Bard for The CHOW:
Slight change to the illustration based on the character sheet
Ink and tone, ... and red keytar!
Next up, local colour and rendering until the deadline*note: gotta resist the temptation to do background, at least until I'm satisfied with the local colours.

ohhhh man!! witcrack your skill is just awesome! such big progress from when you started, I'm sorry for the ass pat but that is really all I can offer, You are clearly on pro level.
in answer to your question(and thank you for the comment), I'm not currently going to a art school, just spend all the time I can on trying to improve. yourself?
If I happen to comment on your sketchbook, please don't feel obliged to comment on mine. use that time instead to get back to work.

nice stuff mateyou obvs have tons of style. rendering could use more polish in most pics but that's just a matter of time. you're on your way, keep at it!
luther: Thanks man!I appreciate the visit and I'm glad you think I'm progressing, cuz most of the time I don't think I'm going anywhere. But I'm not pro. No, not yet. So, apology accepted ... haha, just kidding. Everyone could use some ass pats every once in a while
And to your question, I'm mostly self-taught too but I had my basic drawing training in my early years of graphic design college.
Ian: Thank you mate! Those tons of styles are actually a product of inconsistencies, in that, I rarely sure of what I was doing most of the times and get bored easily (as you may have guessed. Hehe). I'm quite enjoying it though, but I know I have to fix it, bits by bits. Come back here again sometimes and help me out?

So, here's my final for CHOW#298

Yo mateee!!!Glad to see you keeping up
The last work is great. You followed a nice approach and stayed true to it. So the piece have great design and execution. Try other approach in the next one.
Keep up the great work![]()
CheckBiomechawolf
wow you've done loads of work![]()
Thank you kingkostas and kaikaisushi.
So, here's more studies of colours:
So, ummm... few tries of these opaque colours studies, some posts ago, I thought I was quite grasping it. After these two, I wasn't really sure what to look for and thought maybe I should study values again, maybe with temperature changes, like black, red and white, I don't know... Anyone had something in mind regarding to this matter? what did I missed or anything? I would love to hear it![]()
