Here's a sketch of one of the stuffed animals at the Natural History Museum in Stockholm. I went there for a sketchmeet a few days ago.. it was great. Full of motivation and inspiration! putting up new goals and starting painting again. Thanks for all the nice feedback everyone. You are awesome!

Sketching for Creature of the Week 228.. Orc warrior on his warmount bird thingy.. playing around with the lassotool finding cool shapes! I'm thinking of how to add more story to it.. right now it just feels posed in the cliché way. "Badass orc doing a badass roar without any actual reason"

I don't know if I'm doing it the wrong way.. but I always like to start doing the background first I'm thinking of keeping the orc a sillhouette, cause right now it takes a lot of attention from the creature. And.. it is a creature challenge. Either that.. or maybe I could turn the orc into a piece of cardboard

Nejfan, Lämnat ÖG o all sorts "modern konst" bakom mig. Sitter på Malmöhögskola Produktdesign o tecknar stileben någon timme varje dag. Känns lite mer givande.
Sj då? E du kvar på folkis?

Jag funderar att på något sätt snacka mig fram på MAH om en studiecirkel där man kan få lite bidrag en schysst lokal o samla ihop lite folk där man kan sitta måla & skissa o lära sig från varandra. Kanske sätta upp lite studiolampor hyra modeller, ha gemensamma uppgifter etc. Hålla varandra motiverade.

Hade tänkt hitta lite fler skånemännsikor som är intresserade. Kanske inte för stort gäng men några st iaf.

Wr00m - alright! låter gött jag är tillbaka i höör för tillfället. Adda mig på facebook dirr! Det händer ganska mycket i malmötrakterna redan.. är sketchmeet en gång i veckan. Hade lätt varit på nått sånt.. svårt att säga just nu bara, har det tight med ekonomin.



More work on the cow, scrapped the orc.. Thinking of it more as a goblin siege-breaker creature. It can take 2 goblins on its back and 1 up on the head.
Going to work the lighting a lot to make it pop!

That's looking pretty beast! I like the rendering so far, I think it was a good idea removing the orc, he was taking the focus away from the warbeast.

It's gonna be fun seeing to completed one!

here's a quick update.. almost got stuck in early rendering.. as you might notice on the area around its foot. bad habit. Had so much fun exploring colours though I couldn't stop. I'm trying new things here.. and will explain what I'm learning once I finish it. Arh.. this is way too much fun! haven't been able to enjoy painting like this since.. I can't recall ever enjoying painting this much before actually

It's not that painting has been boring earlier.. it's just that I have always had a hard time continuing a piece once it's past a deadline.. but I don't feel the same way with this one.

I love how the warm light reflects on the beast and the wood. Very Very subtle, I like that.

This song is insane. Just had to share some Ummet Ozcan, by far some of the best trance I've heard along with W&W.

more work on the creature. Getting into rendering.. though I'm a bit hesitant at times.. guess I've been gone for too long. I'd really like to push the values on the head one or two steps further to make it stand out. Things are moving forward As far as rendering goes.. I'm texturing and blocking in smaller shapes now.. but there's still a lot left I'd like to do. Hope I don't over-work it.
