ow damn im so sorry to hear about your loss... I felt something similar when my sister died some years ago, hope you all the best in the world!
Hey bud, let me know if you feel like chatting. I'll try to stay signed onto MSN pretty frequently so I can catch you and see how you're doing. Or if you'd rather, feel free to send me a PM with some thoughts. If not this week, maybe the next, or the next, or so on. Whenever you feel like it.
Truthfully I'm not sure I'd be of any help. Mostly, I just want to be sure you're doing alright. I guess you could call it selfish of me.
Best of luck until then.
Update darn you! I wanna see more
Words are not enough to thank you all for your kind support.. hearing that many of you have similar stories to tell made me both sad and determined. I'm pushing through..
Now is not the time to write much, replies later, for now.. a portrait I have been working on these days. It is my friend and It's going to be a gift for his mother.. I have asked my friends to help me fund the printing and framing of the piece.. it sadens me though, that I am not able to do more for her and the family.. I'm planning on finishing some time soon, have been working it every day.
Also, sketch for this week's chow that has a cool topic - snowmancer
Also, for the first time this year.. the sun gave some warmth. Did my first ala prima painting outside today. The air has never been this pure before, nor have the days been this long. I love spring, it brings new hope and life
again, thank you so very much.

very nice work on the portrait, im sure his mother will love it. and its good that your keeping yourself occupied with your art. submerse yourself in it, it can help alot.
Cool sketch for the snowmancer entry.
And I feel your pain. I went through a similar loss last year, my father. Losses that massive that you and I have experienced take a great deal of time and effort to push through. Just know that the clouds will eventually part and the light will shine through. May your friend rest in peace.

hey everyone. Thank you for looking at my work and leaving off some thoughts, it's fun Things are better since I last wrote, your support has been really helpful and I appreciate it a lot. I didn't know so many of you have had similar experiences.. it was unexpected. It also gave me hope seeing you live on, doing what you love even though having experienced great loss. Thank you for that.
I hope to start updating again.
Here are some sketches. More to come. (I suck at people and faces so hard.. off to practice!)
