thumbz. quick "look and feel" thumbz!

I wanted to quickly establish the difference between good and evil. We decided our work would have an whiff of the orientalist masters.
The good version will be a soul shaman, while the evil version will be a necromancer. More stuff to come !

For the EVIL version, I'm thinking of fused, grinding, melting metal crap. Similar attire probably. I'll have costume details of this guy soon. Kinda leaning towards the middle one at the moment.

Here's the good-guy-man. Still lots of tweaks and style issues, and I'm still messing around with the color palette and shape edges a bit too. Villain-evil-guy-man thumbs & sketches should be up sooner rather than later.

maybe knock down the black outlines for the facial fragments and add some cast shadows from them on his torso?

I'm not sure if the drapery question is for me, i will go ahead and answer just in case. I didn't use ref for these dudes... At most I had a painting or a picture of the way the material behaves and try to mimic the heaviness or softness of the drapery. But for the actual character illustrations I'll try and get ref and save myself from a nasty headache!
