Intuos 4 surface sheet and accessory kit out

Just FYI for those looking to change surface sheets, they're out now.

    https://direct.wacom.com/stores/5/Intuos_C65.cfm

I noticed it said Clear so I wonder if this is like the old classic slip sheets. You can also order the nib accessory kit direct from wacom.

Art pen is still on backorder, I thought they'd have them available by now since it's August?

Thanks for the info Arshes Nei.

I know this is a naive question but I wonder how do you replace the surface sheets of the Intuos4? I accidentally scratch mine with a few nasty mark and I did try to search around but couldn't find instructions on replacing the sheet itself.

    That's a good question.

I know in the past when I ordered surface sheets for the other versions it came with instructions. From what it looks like on the clear sheets they give you clues to where the adhesive is at. That's where you're likely to peel them from. So obviously the sheets you can pull off from the center of the tablet.

Ehmm maybe Im feeling like a total noob now *gasp* ... and I thought those clear sheets (with adhesive strip on one side) were protective overlay sheets to add on top of the existing surface. Against scratching.

At least. That's how it also looked like in the manual (wich was more like an A4).

So I just added the clear surface sheet on top of the tablet and it works great and it protects the actual surface from scratching.

But now I peeled off the black one from my I4 Medium and placed the clear sheet the proper way hehe. Found it pretty scary peeling it off at first.

But now it makes perfect sense and is actually a nice system!

Hmm they were selling it in the European store a while back.

At least for the small and medium one. I got one for my medium.

Really? Is there a link to it? Because I'd love to check it out and see what they look like for the I4. I was hoping to get one for my Large. Is it through Wacom or another store? I've been looking periodically through Wacom and haven't seen much for the I4 Large. I was thinking about getting my own made, but I wasn't sure on custom prices around here.

The cases? Yeah they're on Wacom's Europe site. That's actually how I figured to check for the surface sheets because they were showing up on the Europe site:

I bought this one: http://eu.shop.wacom.eu/Booq-Taipan-...256_68865.html for my Intuos4 Medium.

It seems they don't have cases (yet) for the Large version tablets.

As these are basically Notebook cases, I assume the Large version is just too large and somone needs to manufacture a line specifically for the Large tablets. As laptops aren't that big (yet).

Sorry to bump this thread, but has anyone tried the "clear" sheet replacements?
Are they smoother / less nib hungry?
