Haven't really thought too deeply into the story yet, was just trying to get a little bit of a feel for her background thoughts. I thought I would have her be a monk/preistess? of a nearly dead religion. She very idealogically inflexible and very rigidly good. (Please, play away with her)

I think the reason she would be evil (since we are supposed to make an evil portrait of the same character) would be that she mistakenly thinks herself SO morally superior and SO religiously fervent that there would be no way she can be corrupted... So she messes with some kind of dark minotaur magical item, thinking she can control it (for the good of the world or the group or whatever) and it twists her.

Edit: maybe the nearly dead religion she is head of had a huge goal of beating back the minotaur and they have failed horribly (obviously LOL). So she has a major grudge on many levels. Her fighting style I'm thinking is going to be very hand to hand and light. Um. My brain's still working I'll come up with more But in any case, she would definitely serve as a scout for the group.

Thanks, really having issues today with getting her body right. Every pose I try she just looks too rigid. I will try one more like you just posted. You know, like she's kneeling to get a better look at tracks or something. oooooh maybe she has a short spear. XD cool.

Thanks for helping me get my brain going lol, I have a full day to work on this exclusively and I wanted to give it as much attention as I could.

Gonna change her face and give her more of an expression too methinks.

good ones!! maybe I will try to do some dynamic poses(jump, fight this kind of thing) to help you drawing skinny ladies is IMHO much easier than fat ones. I was always doing anorectic characters.
trying to make fat one looking dynamic(my bad version of dwarf) will be simply a disaster

    1. Full bodied figure only [CHOW II rules] Please check how the sample character is. As long as all the body parts are shown, collectively. It should be ok.
    2. With 3/4 of the character showing [Chow Guidelines]

Doh, I really wanted to have crouching postures. Like they're rummaging through a cooling camp fire looking for clues.
I suppose you can do multiple angles of the same character if you wanted to. Which I certainly don't. o.0

    Anyhoot,
Sweeet updates Sarah and Lindsay, halllo Kenneth.

    *
sepu: Sorreeeiz, I didn't realise I kept cutting it off. 'twasn't on purpose. hehe
-How about making that steed just a tiny bit larger. Just a tiny bit.
I'll play around with it 'cause I feel his pain. haha
-Just wanted you to know they're triple z'ds, maybe give her a bit more rib cage and
take out that space in-between the right arm and torso.

oh sepu full bodied figure only, sorry. I've been glancing at everything, such a doozy.

    *
AmbientSounds: Just have her occupied by something else on the side or back.
Through the eyes or the tilt of the head you can play around with her reaction endlessly.
n Nooooo you, are, not, a clown.

In terms of backgrounds and perspective, I could use some help with it also.
But KDPED will bounce off ideas and solutions when we come to.

    Looking good everyone.

SirKenneth: I'm trying to think up of postures to surround your good guy with.
I was thinking you'd walked in on our camp, eating deer and tiny horse.
1 standing, 1 sitting on a rock, and 1 semi-profile view. Just a reason to practise
    character creations really. hahaha.

It sucks I know, but I'm still going to do it with one of the triplettes.
[Don't tell, but It's the same character, just with a few differences here and there buahaha]

When a brown bear knocks at your front door, you'll be surprised how 'nimble' you actually are. Trust me.

If you've already fleshed out one crouching, just reason that they're twins. Huzzzah, simple, no?

K so just to be clear before I start getting ready for bed... It pretty much has to be a front-on standing pose exactly like the one that's an example?

For now yes, but I could've sworn a team had their finals facing sideways.
I thought it was Team Baguette, but apparently I was seeing things.
They're not even finished like I thought they were. [What the hell have I been drinking?]

We'll get back to you on that one Linds, but front on looks to be the case. For now.
Maybe just a slight side would be acceptable.

gaaah, if I could, I'd make one minotaur hanging upside down a tree just to see if I'm able to.

Random tree dwellers for anyone with a tree in their background. hahaha.
She needs fantasy magic, stat. This is as close to Warhammers as I could get. o.0

*falls over dead long before the bears can get to me*

as;glkja sg;dlkj okay. twins it is . LOL. I'm glad I know now instead of after I fleshes that biwatch out. @.o Hell I'm sure I can even leave her face like I've got it and just have the body front on. maybe. LOL

You know, it's times like this that a dance fight would come in handy. You fight out your problems, and you dance your frustrations away. (unless you dance into the bear's cave. ....and well, when skunks dance it means you're about to stink a LOT. )

my brain has ceased to function in any kind of human fashion. Sleeeeeeeep

    lmao

*picks you up by your giant feet and chucks you on the bed* Start that sheep count girl.
n Practise practise practise, GMS gives lessons. Indeed.

edit: some camp poses I was thinking of. Strawberry-Orange flavoured meat.
Tell me how I can make them scary. Should I go for weapons, or are they penetrating into your soul already?

    Poses.

Ok, as per example with the final CHOWS that I've seen, and going with one of trevor's CHOW threads - 'Team Zaxxon Chows Down' any of
those poses would do. Full front, or turned slightly to the side.

Ambient: I reckon your current head is ok, just not the crouching/hunching at the moment. [blaaaah, I should've made sure of it. Sorrieeez].

Since I've got triplettes to play with, I think I can get away with it, as long
as I have one frontal to the viewer.

We're all set right. Let's get to it.
Critique and drop comments whenever we can.
3 timezones so feedbacks and drops won't be instantaneous. Unfortunately, but eh, we've managed so far.

I got carried away doing bull shit tonight I didnt draw any chow at all!! But tomorrow is a whole day off! So, I will finish one of tomorrow- and see if I can do any red liners on some work. I saw another team doing that - where they put red lines over the perspective or proportional problems.
For now, I will sleep also. Thanks for all the info on the rules dwardo-glad my angle is going to work!

Sleep in, butcher a pig, whatever ever you know.
Hence my call for 1 weekend and 1 weekday to be no CHOW days.

Nice variation Kenneth, I'll give it a run through asap.

-I like the feel of your colour selection very much.
I'll have to ask you to palette my grays for me.

-In terms of armor. I kind of like the sharper lines (ab plates) on the original. The helmet, if it were I, I'd probably personalise more.
Aggressive lines/gestures, I'll mock some up and send them along. I just have to get rid of a couple of things on the schedule.

-I'm currenly looking at bugaku masks for the anitos. I want to scare the living crap out of Sarah. Sarah, what scares you?

the ring, the eye, shutter, grudge - this kind of asian horror is just way too much. even in full light and without voice(my way for scary moments I want to see) it is still staiyng with me until night falls and scarying me enough to be afraid to go to toilet.

working with necromancer. getting feelings, trying dynamic postures, almost there where I want to be

    SOAD
You know that every time I try to go
Where I really want to be,
    It's already where I am,
    Cause I'm already there.

The kombucha mushroom people, sitting around all day! Who will believe you, who will believe you, let your mother prraaaaay. [okay done sorry lol]

Hey kenneth, with your second version the legs on that dude seem a little small for some reason. I'm cool with the redliners, I might play with that for a little bit [lord knows when I get mine back out there I'll appreciate the red lines myself].

Okay, back to the grind today. I feel like such a lump, it's almost one o' clock and I only rolled out of bed and took my boyfriend lunch like an hour ago. [fail]. I'm going to go heat up some leftover pizza, blast some soad on the stereo and get my butt back to work while there's still time [aka while I don't have to work this week and before school restarts].

sugar is my favourite one, AmbientSounds, just after it are spiders and science. cannot get used to their new stuff.

and don't feel bad with your attitude toward your day schedule mine is almost same, except that I have to do things(like to change diaper of my little pooper). Im just doing them in zombie-mode.

I think I will watch some dawn of the dead to get inspiration for my daily movements and my necromancer dwarf..

wooooow. and now I have MIGHTY de-ja-vu.

I'd have to say I love those to death. And yeah it took me awhile to really get used to their newest stuff, but now it's taken hold of me too. Awesome song is Questions, google the music video for it [if you're interested lol ...NO DO IT. ] because it is really good. Most of their vids are just them like jumping around and stuff, but this one's different.

I have little poopers too, but fortunately they are both cats so I don't have to watch them constantly. I kinda wish I could put diapers on them though. How old is your pumpkin?

DAWN OF THE DEAD! [or shawn of the dead, an epic movie in these modern times lol] wait, you have deja vu while watching zombies??? >.> crap, where exactly are you from, so I don't go there on accident and get eaten. [I hate deja vu sometimes, it weirds me the hell out lol]

EDIT: LOL Sugar came on as I was posting this

deja-vu was for the feeling of writing exavtly this text before. of watching this movie, of feeling like zombie trying to get feeling for drawing and such.
    very possible IMHO.

sugar is nice video, but my total fav is spiders. spiders are just killing me.

and to satisfy your curiosity(which is killing for the cats, so keep them away now) Im from poland originally, a very berserk-zombie kind of country.

I had a really hard time getting your proportions Kenneth.
How many heads is your construction, 'cause I don't count mine.
It's mostly 7 or 9+ on my end.
So, this is some random, starters I was thinking of.
Smaller head with more room for details. Which I haven't put. Ha!

For someone into Sepultura, I would've expected you to be more of a hard ass. All those movies
you mentioned are comedy man. So silly.
    Hi Lindseeee.
And SOAD is a band, and those are lyrics. I didn't put it together. I thought you mis-spelt SOAP and you
were writing poetry. ok. I really need to get some beauty sleep.
