    Whose sketches/illustrations are these? (this time no painting found on the attic)

    those were on a friend's computer, there's no single clue where they might come from..
    does anyone recognize the artist?

    I don't know who the artist is, but I'd say they're definitely influenced by Bill Sienkiewicz.

    Wow, just checked out Epias' link - Jerome Opena's really is awesome, I'll be keeping an eye on his blog.
