Hello. I'm new to ConceptArt.org and SB. Just found this forum threads because of email received from CA.org

another paintings. I started to paint in photoshop in the end of feb 2009. Hope to get to reasonable results in about a year or two.

Thank you soooo much! Sorry, I don't think that I can do studies, it's too cool for my limited skills, because every time I want to do something beautiful, but in the end it looks like studies No, I mean 2009. It started when my relatives made me a present graph tablet. For now it's just Genius G-Pen 560, but i used to it already ) I don't know, it's hard to make myself to use pencil now, when all i need to do is just open photoshop

I like sketching creatures. This was a 1,5h speedpaint.

Enviros is my weakest point of all. So I'll try to sketch enviros from now. Hope it'll help me to proceed in my painting.

Hello mate and welcome to CA
Your works are telling that you have trained a lot of your artistic skills.Btw try using less black in shadows, because black makes it dull in the end.(if a warm light is hitting your object then its not that bad to use some black with low opacity or multiply,to make cold shadows,because black makes it a little colder)
Keep making them less rough with cleaner lines etc.
And i would like to see some pencil work as well

kingkostas - Thank you for your reply. I tryed 1.5 h speedpaint after thought about your shading guide. It's helpful to have at least one reply as yours. I'll draw with that in mind and hope to bring it a few steps further from my current paintings. I'm really grateful

Your pieces are very creative and imaginative - something that I have found to be far more difficult to attain than simply being able to render something accurately. Your technical skills definitely need polishing and practice, but one day, you're going to be a fantastic artist. I'm absolutely sure of it.

Khalo - thank you for your compliment. I allways thought my painting were not so creative at all, because of a boring angles and low dynamics . There are many examples that inspire to work, work and work and push yourself to get better results. It's a secret, but I was soooo inspired by DA gallery of Marek Okon )) And now I believe that everything is possible )

Some monster sketch, and old pen/pencil sketches. Don't know about drawing with graphite now, since having a universal drawing tool like photoshop makes it easier to forget about pencil ;(

I agree with Khalo - you have a wonderful imagination , a good sense of story telling and good control over pencils. I think studies will definitely help you improve your skills ; study everything; the more , the better : perspective, anatomy , colour theory if you will , but I am sure that with studies you will be brilliant in no time

I like the piece with the monk with the conical hat around the grassy area, that must have taken a long time to paint that grass like that
