newborn flower spirit and dragon

They where born in flowers, already adult. He feared they would blow away, like dust in the wind if they where born any smaller.
In turn for their youth, he gave them eternal innocence.
They are the ones who ride the winds, on their dragons of wood and flowers spreading happy thoughts to all they pass.
They are the flower spirits.

bah! I'm no mach for the hordes of talented artists here so I'm just gonna have fun with this

i like your "fairy being born in your hands" idea, maybe you could pull out on the shot and add in the reaction of the person (child?) who is holding this wonderious thing

you are missing some fingers....

you wont see the fingers per say on the bottom hand, but the top hand the fingers would be seen

thanks but that's not necessarily right as this is a near birds eye view of a hand held at an angel if the hand where held out straight you would be correct but they are curved around the flower ^-^

also because its a near birds eye view I cant show the expression in the face of the holder but I decided to add two children watching the birth seen from a 1/4 view

1. bad way to show my point as she bends her left thumb less than my drawing and is sticking her pinky out
2. progress or some-such...

fixed the angel and added the second kid
