Yo, thank you all for great amount of feedback. Love you all! Here's sketchy sketch - trying out different technique. what's up with his pinkie? actually I though it would be interesting to make instead of pinkie a thumb.
I think it would be cool to have additional thumb.

    The enviros are really good!
Great use of perspective, light and colour.
However I think they would be a lot better if you blended in textures a little more.
It evens out the inconsistent level of detail and helps with scale.
Photos often have higher contrast and therefore look like they belong in the foreground.
    keep up the good work!

I had no need for "clean" images - those were moodshots, the point was to quickly produce many design iterations.

Great work here man. LOOOVE those environment studies. Those just blew me away instantly. Superb!

I would agree with kikindaface when it comes to human anatomy (particularly the face). Overall, it's good but it could use some more studies. The hairlines of some of the portraits were a bit off and the form of the head didn't always feel as rounded (and full) as it should. Almost a bit flat feeling. It's really subtle but that's all it takes to make an image feel a bit off.

But, like I mentioned before, awesome work here and you're doing a good job. Love those photos of...St. Petersburg? Whatever city it was, looks awesome man!

    Cheers mate!

hey, beautiful creature designs and great job with your character faces. But don't forget to give the rest of them some love - the sneakers on the most recent character you posted are killing the design. The rest of him is so well thought out; he has style, he has personality. Except for his shoes.

@ cumquat yeah, you're right, when I got to the shoes, I got lazy and tired. But hey, it's a sketch ) Ok, that's not an excuse for lazy work.

wow, nice environment thumbs. You have a slapdash approach to using photo textures but I really like that, I think it leaves the work looking rough and painterly. Good stuff!
