Mech concepts works::parts of recent works

Hi friends,i've been here for quite a long time,i love this great forum,people are from different countries,they have different
cultures,but when they came here,i tihink there is only one reason,they all love conceptual design and they wanna show the other's
their legendary fantastic world,at least i do

i am a boy from China,though Chinese culture seems very mysterious to the friends from Europe or America,to the youth of China,
we were deeply affected by western culure in recent times,it is good for our people,but some time i feel a bit sad,maybe i will
find my way to develop our own great culture in conceptual design fields later on,now,i think i'm still too young to understand
the most great part of Chinese Culture

here is some of my recent works,i draw them only for fun,i'm major in Mechincal Engineering in the Univ,but actually i don't like
it at all,luckly,after 3 and half a years,i'm gonna be finish it soon,i really wish i could get a job in my favourite fields ^^V

personal speaking,i love Crig Mullins and Sparth's drawing styles very much,sometimes,when i'm looking at their artworks ,i'm so
excited,well and i think the fantastic world they created is a great power,the power makes me eager to creat such great scences by
my own hands ,i did learn a lot from these great aritsts.As a easterner,Janpanese style also affected me...now i think i don't have
my style,it is a sad thing,though i was confused sometime,but i won't stop one his way to a dreaming world

O,and there si also some CG works and T-shirt design,except conceptual design,they are also my favourites

Alti that T-shirt hasn't been made yet,i draw that lizard in my drawing book and i use photoshop to add it to a picture of a T-shirt,well maybe later i will
try if i could print some,they won't be expensive,i swear

these designs are awesome. the "star laser cannon striker" is my personal favorite of these

Looks much like a new Thunderforce- or Radiant Silvergun-Episode XD

If youre looking for some webspace to upload pics, try www.250free.com for 250 mb of free webspace. however the maximum free bandwith-size is 250 mbs as well and you'd theoretically need to set up a page.
www.picturehost.co.uk is useful for small-size-pics up to 50 kb, but you have to choose a unique filename.

4 and 5 are my fav.'s Very nice work. Love it how you've mixed styles. Number 5 has that distinct look that you usually find in animes. While number 4 looks like a mix of robo-tech and Mechwarrior (jap/american)

PS: Hope you get to do what you enjoy (seeing how youre doing Mechanical engineering at the moment.. while being brilliant at drawing). Good luck!

wow. i love your style.you have an extremely wide style, its really amazing stuff. kinda makes me wish i was more into chinese culture. i was born here and only visited taiwan when i was 2 years old. again man, i'm just blown away, and the fact that your a freakin mech. engineer major is just weird, but i'm sure you'll be able to somehow combine the 2. you have a lot of talent, maybe you should try design engineering so you can apply your art and conceptuals. also, is the 4th picture from steel battalion?

yeah,i think i am now living in the middle of 2 cultures and maybe that makes my work special
now i am also improving my style,actually everybody improve all the time
in this field i was never alone,the others' great work encouraged me,i'm trying to learn from
them all the time,after all,i am not a art student,you discussions here and all the works are
my teachers ^^

i am happy that you are interesting in Chinese culture,i am sure you will be surprised when
ya visit here,the old peking or the other historic old cities,though what i show you here are
little about Chinese culture.i've never been to Taiwan,and though we have the same ancestors,
the same cultures,after these years,the sitruation are totally different between us,personaly speaking,
i think they hold the old culture better than us

now here,i would like to you ya more,'cuz i'm still on my way to seek my style
i only choose some old better ones ^___^ and i think those maybe all i can show
you now,i will keep up to do better and more,these work were finished during 1 and half a year

Soviet Giant is excellent. It combines your tight, extremely accurate mechanical designs with loose dynamic rendering and color. You are definitely a welcome addition to conceptart.org!
